While on vacation in Orlando, my wife and I stumbled apon a massive comic shop called Colosseum Of Comics.  I picked up a trio of "Bones" gaming miniatures for $3-$4 each that will become new creatures in my menagerie of alien beasts.


And when I came home from Florida, I  found my NYCC Press Pass waiting for me!

Picked up Super Mario Maker for the Wii U today. In short, you can design your own custom Mario levels. You can choose between 4 Mario game styles: the original Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. U. It comes with a neat little booklet to help you give ideas on making your own levels.

Picked up a Goomba figure from the World of Nintendo line today. You can move the feet a little bit to make it look like its walking, pretty cool. The "mystery item" that came with it is a coin.

Picked this up last week off a facebook group called Video Game Memorabilia Museum, which is the same name as its online forum. It's a Mario & Yoshi pullback and has 2 speeds. I had this as a kid (still do) but its all worn and has many scuff marks on it. Nice to replace it with a new one.

After reviewing my expenditures from NYCC, I realized that I spend less than 40% of my budget so I treated myself to 2 of the new Schleich "Eldrador" Battle Arenas!

With the BOGO 40% off sale and an assortment of coupons and store credit, I spent a total of $101.97 with tax for them. They retail for $99.99 each so I got 2 for less than the price of 1 with the tax



These things are enormous and come packed with accessories and figures. Each set comes with an articulated Dwarf (w/shield and axe accessories), a Knight, a Barbarian, a baby dragon, a 2 headed Blood Viper and a pair of flags (one for the Dragon Army and one for the Gryphon Army).

Picked up these 2 cool metal pendants at A.C. Moore for $3.74 each after taxes thanks to 50% off coupons.

The one with the wings will go to one of my upcoming wizards and the tentacled one will be for my upcoming Temple Of Cthulhu dirama.

Inalso got this great "Harry Potter" Troll figure from one of my friends at work. It needs some repainting and he is missing his club (I will be making a custom bludgeon for him).

Over the last 2 weeks, I have been picking up several Safari Ltd. vinyl dragons ( and 1 Gryphon) using 50% off coupons from Michaels and A.C. Moore.

They are basically statues (0 pts of articulation) but their dynamic poses still make them useful for my display needs.

The 3 in this post are the Forest, Swamp and Ice Dagons.
