Picked up some official MLB baseballs from Walmart today. If you go to a sports store they would want about $15 just for one. They were $7 so I grabbed 2.

Dollar Tree diorama fodder haul!

The big skull is 6" or 7". The 2 skulls on the stands have articulated jaws. There were also solid, 1 piece variants but I wanted the articulated jaws for variety in case I want to remove them. The stands also have diorama fodder potential. I am debating getting 2 more.

The real stars of this haul are the GITD skulls with stakes. They have great detailing. I plan to pick up a few more next time I hit Dollar Tree.

I returned to Dollar Tree and picked up the last of the skulls I wanted for future diorama projects.

I was really surprised to discover that there are 2 different designs for the GITD skulls. I ended up with 3 of each.

Went to Walmart and grabbed one more official MLB baseball, still on sale for $7.  It was the last one so I figured why not.

No luck with any early releases of the Rogue One products either. Resistance X-wings (blue) in my area are on sale for $35.  I'm waiting for them to go a bit lower before I buy another one. I'd like to get a second and paint it for Red Squadron.

You sure don't seem to need a very large collecting budget. Pennies here and there! Great finds.

Thanks!

I have gotten to the point where I am not really buying much at all anymore due to the increasing cost of toys so I am being very selective as to what I do buy so finding these incredible clearance deals really helps.

Dollar store and Halloween store hauls!

The bobble skulls utilize the same molds as the GITD skulls I have been picking up but have the bonus of both spinal columns and usable disc bases for additional projects.

The shrieking skull is 5" and from the same manufacturer as the fanged skull from a week ago.

At the Halloween store on Rt46, I picked up two 18-count bags of 1/6 scale skulls.
These 2 hauls fulfill all of my larger than 1/18 scale skull needs to last the rest of my diorama building life :)

Vasquez!  Love the figure, but it IS odd they skimped on some of the details, like the "Adios!" on the smartgun. Still, one of their best likenesses ever.

I picked up this Safari Ltd. Cerberus at A.C. Moore with a 55% off coupon! It needs some tightening up of the paint apps (collars, nails and mouth interiors).

On the way back to my car, I found the tiny tan prehistoric armored mammal in the parking lot (squating down to pick him up was excruciating as my back is currently messed up  :( ). He needs a new, less friendly, head and a repaint before joining the rest of my sci-fi menagerie.
