My Wal-Mart.com order arrived a day late thanks to Winter Storm Stella, but my Schleich Dilophosaurus is finally here!

My Toysrus.com order also arrived a day late thanks to Stella but my 6 Funko ReAction "The Dark Crystal" Garthims are here and ready to join my collection!

I saw this on Facebook last night. Very nice.

Hey Dan, did you get to see Kong yet? Thinking about seeing it tomorrow.

Not yet, my wife and I are planning on catching a matinee on Sunday weather permitting.

I hit up the Disney Store after work and scored the new Marvel Select Groot (comic version) and a Disney Store exclusive wind up Baby Groot.

Baby Groot has 9POA (better than most Hasbro products LOL). I plan on removing the wind up feature (which doesn't work well anyway) and repainting it.

I also got some super scores tonight at Toys R Us and Kohl's!

The "Game Of Thrones" Wall playsets were price matched at TRU to Amazon's $14.91 price. I also had a $5 R Rewards and a $4.97 store credit left over so I got 2 playsets for less than the price of 1 at the $24.99 TRU already had them marked down to!

At Kohl's, I picked up their exclusive "Rogue One" 4pk for $5.33 including tax thanks to a $10 Kohl's Cash certificate my wife got in the mail.

Thanks!

I plan on writing a short article on stretching your action figure budget in the near future to help everyone out :)

Now that would be cool Dan. I will be sure to showcase that!

And on the Kong Skull Island Movie you are gonna love it. Make sure you stay till after the credits are over too.

My wife bought me this awesome chrome biohazard symbol for my car (my car is covered with biohazard and anti-zombie decorations). Now I need to find a great, flat area on the car to apply it.

Pretty sweet Dan. You need to give us a pic of your car. Sounds cool.

Recent Purchases:

6x Marvel Universe 3.75 for $3.50 each as a lot.  The Armored Daredevil series.

Marvel Legends 6 inchers (on the cheap):

1. War Machine
2. Spider Woman
3. Civil War 3 pack

And around local retail:

B6 inch- Black Spiderman (will be impossible to find otherwise and never discounted).

Plus quite a few bootleg Lego LOTR/Fantasy figs.

As most of you know, I tend to think outside of the box when it comes to my hobby. I often go beyond the usual action figure lines looking for inspiration and potential fodder.

Today at K-Mart I found this set of faux stone borders in their garden section.

In each box you get 8 wall sections, one "male" endcap, one "female" endcap and an assortment of long and short stakes to fasten them into your lawn.

1 wall piece with female endcap (front left), male endcap (front right) (stakes not pictured).

Male and female endcaps attached to a wall piece.

The wall pieces look great next to 3.75"/4" figures and can be used to make not just walls but square structures as well.

4 sided "fort" (you can make 2 of these with the box's contents).

4 sided "fort" with a 3.75" Boss Fight Studio Ultimate Spartan for scale.

In the pictures, you will see that I also have some great faux stone stepping stones that make great capstones or even bases for the square structures.

4 sided "fort" with capstone and 3.75" Ultimate Spartan for scale.

4 sided "fort" with stone base and 3.75" figure for scale.

This set was only $24 and well worth it. You will need to trim off flash along all of the edges, fill the round openings for the stakes and do a repaint for total realism, but any project requires some manual labor.

I had a great haul day today!

My Safari Ltd. Scores from Michaels and A.C.Moore thanks to 55% + 60% off coupons!

I hit the fairy village fantasy diorama fodder motherload today between A.C.Moore, Michaels and Tuesday Morning!

Everything but the chairs on the green cards from Tuesday Morning were 50% off. Some of the bagged/carded items from A.C.Moore are damaged but they are an easy fix with Krazy Glue and I got them for an additional 50% off (except for the gazing ball with the busted column which was marked down to $1!).

Nice Dan. Let me go share that too. You are showing us all how to get great stuff for not a lot of coin.
