oh man, I need 8-10 of the small ones. I can't wait to see the others with a figure for scale.

OK, I was going to move the thread for the new images, and I still could if you want to, but I'll post them here for now.  Below is some Container Porn.  It's not all I have and a lot of it is unfinished and unpainted but you get the idea.   Doc, I'm still sending you the ammo crate so that you can get a mold going.  If it comes out well I'd like to order some more from you.  Anyway, here it is...

Above : Playmobil containers  (painted and unpainted) and Aliens Playset ammo boxes.

Above : Playmobil large containers.  The way these are made they are stackable.  The feet fit into notches on the lids so they don't slide off. I weathered them a little.  They are sold clean in the gray you see.

And here is a group shot of various containers I have in various condition...

Above : Playmobil containers, Aliens Playset ammo boxes, Fuel drums from military playsets and skateboard figures, and locker is from Marauder, inc.

Now, the Playmobil containers used to be on the Playmobil site but I can't find them anymore for some reason.  My local Hobby/Train store still carries a few of them, I think, so I'll be picking them up and get the catalog number from the package and see what's up.

Another thing I will list here, even though it's not a container, is another item from Playmobil which is a little pricey at $11 a piece but I think is oh, so cool.  They use 2 AA batteries and look great on a landing pad lighting up a diorama. They can be shortened and positioned in many different ways.  Just a heads up for those that may be interested.

Here is the link to the item on the Playmobil site : http://store.playmobilusa.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-US-Site/en_US/Product-Show?pid=7445&cgid=Ds_Elektronisches_Zubehoer

Do you want me to send one of the large and medium containers to cast also or are they too big?

You send, I'll mold - I'm looking at the Playmobil stuff on ebay.  I'll get the molding compound in 5gal buckets if needed!  This stuff is AWESOME!!

Yeah, Playmobil has a lot of stuff to work with.  Some of it is a bit out of scale or cheezy but a lot of it is really nice and will pass in 1:18 scale dioramas for Joes or Star Wars.  Anyway, I'll send them along.

These Playmobil containers are also very cool.  I don't own them but my local Hobby Shop has a set and I'll probably pick them up at some point soon if they still have them.  I'll post some images of them with figures when I do.

I'm seeing some nice-looking furniture on ebay - I may buy some various pieces and see how well it works with figs...

(Cargo containers still in line to be molded - hazards of my profession, stuff gets shoved to the backburner due to work.  Plans are to get molding again soon, tho...)

OK!!  I am in need of some Iron Man fig bits, most particularly 2 of the snap-on "launchers" from the Hypervelocity Armor figure.  Even tho the local WalMart has them marked down to $5 per fig, that's more than I really wanted to cough up on this project, unless someone wants those figs.

I need the head of Sgt. Harkas from Joker Squad set - a recast would be perfectly acceptable.
