Your customs keep getting better and better.
The sculpting on Snoova is phenomenal.
I like all the little details especially the Transdosian bones.
Excellent work.

Thank you Fiala! I didd a 3-3/4" Snoova a while back and hung Transdosian bones from his axe. I like it better hanging from his cape.

I got a quick one here. Nothing too impressive. Just something I felt like doing.  I really like the way he came out. This is my version of an Imperial Jump Trooper.

1:12th AT-AT Pilot re-paint. Added a belt and gun holster. A little sculpting. Casted Fett Jetpack by me and added magnets. Cool little pistol and a missile launcher round him out.

Hope y'all like him.

Another great looking custom! I remember seeing this concept in 1:18th scale before. Fantastic work on this AT-AT Pilot! I especially like the paint job on the back and the jet backpack!
Thank you for sharing this project!

Wow! It's been 7 years since I posted this artwork http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=6503.0 that turned into the mock comic covers "Dark Lords of the Sith". If you haven't seen this read up on this guy. The whole series is based in old horror, utilizing some of the greats like Bella Lugosi, Boris Karloff and Vincent Price as Dark Lords.

Well, it's about time I made one of these guys in plastic so of coarse what would I pick but the most difficult one.  ;D  This is a WIP. I'm close to being done... yet so far away. This is the Bella Lugosi tribute, Darth Vereor and his pet Nexu Blasko'... in 1:12th scale. It's been an adventure, but so far I'm pleased with the results. I'll just post a few photos and explain.

Of coarse here is the original art work so I'm shooting for a similar look. For me the whole thing is selling that this is Bella Lugosi so truly the most important part is the portrait (head sculpt).

Starting with the Nexu, it took 3 figures to pull this off.  I used a Hobbit Warg from the 1:18 line, a Marvel Legends Cotton Mouth and the original Hasbro Nexu from EI. Not all parts were used of coarse.

Here I've attached the arms and the legs of Cotton Mouth to the Warg body using Aves FixIt Sculpt. The original Hasbro Nexu bendy tail is attached using wire and adhesive.

Close up of the grafted limbs and a little Green Stuff on the tail. Notice the Nexu spikes robbed from the original fig.

Nexu body and the top of the head. The top of the head is sculpted over the original Warg head.

Top of the head close up. This is before several mods were done.

Nexu getting his front pads.

Close up of the front pads.

Head received a lower jaw. The jaw is hinged using POTF figure arms turned backward. A home made receiver is made and now the jaw opens and closes.

Bella Lugosi portrait created using Sculpey. I can see him. I hope everyone else can because this likeness is important to the figure. Paint apps will help too.

Armor was created using styrene. I made sure there were elements of Lugosi's Dracula character present to keep the theme going.

Mold box built and ready to go. I'll cast him in plastic for the final.

Close up of the final head. I'm thinking of molding him as well. Not sure yet.

Lord Vader uses Force choke on his subordinates. Darth Vereor uses Blasko', his loyal pet to take care of his problems.

How cool is that! It looks spot on with what you created all those years ago. Very neat. Off to share.

I am anxious to see his paint work on the legs and tail of this after looking at his comic cover. That sure looks like one hard thing to replicate in paint form. I bet DS knocks it out of the park though.
