He looks evil, Spud. Super killer but, just evil. I like the spikey jetpack and the bantha skull.

technically... it's a mythosaur skull.  Early on it was labeled as a bantha by someone and that stuck, the horns on the skull are in the wrong place to be a bantha skull.  But it's no big deal.

I think I'm going to redo the backpack.  It is a little too large for my tastes.

What about the gunbelt and holster. Were you going to paint them? I was just thinking that they would be cool a darker color like a dark brown or brownish grey or something. It just seems like the stock color of the belt and holster makes for too harsh of a color transition from the black under coverings behind it.
Hey Devin, are you going to submit an entry to my contest?

I always thought it was a bantha skull. Still, whatever skull it is,  I like it. Looks good dripping like that.  Good thing I never get too technical. I usually end up wrong!

Yep, that mando turned out pretty cool. I do like the belt better that color.
I like your shadow troopers and thought that the face paint was a neat idea. Tell us about the neckotomy.
I like the MC warrior's armor. Another neat idea.
Have you been listing any of this stuff?

I will list most of it... just havn't yet.  I will probably do that tomorrow at least by saturday night.

Reason for neckectomy:
Figure being customized need's a new head.
Figure being cutomized neck's ball joint is not the correct size for new head!

Performing a neckectomy:
cut off the neck of the figure being customized. dremel smooth if necesarry.

cut off the new neck w/ new ball joint.

Use a pin/needle/small nail/ wire/ etc to attach new neck to customized figure's body where old neck used to be.

if done corectly only a little super glue is needed to attach the new neck.

if there is a gap and it doesn't look right some filling in with apoxi scuplt is done.

paint and let dry.

apply new head to new figure with corrected ball joint.....

a successful neckectomy.

This is why Hasbro should do unto SW as they did unto Joe and give us a standard-sized NECK-BALL!!!!

Umm,

Spudafett, I think your idea of "pinning" which is what we called it in the wargaming days, is fine.

But have you looked into using hot glue on any of these to make an adapter?

Much like darko's lightening techniques, this one is easy to pick up and master :)

then again, if it ain't broke, right?

Well, I'm overall new to the customizing arena, so I have no idea what you are talking about, Narce.  A hotglue adapter?  You got a link to a good explanation or want to write up a tutorial?  I know *I* stand to benefit greatly from it.
