Awesome video tutorial, Spud!
Double thumbs-up.

Don't know if you have them in your spare parts box, but you may want to try some 1/35 scale modern mag pouches as accessory or ammo/battery packs on the belt of the female Mando. They also work well as upper-arm pouches, possibles bags, etc. I think that small details like these enhance the overall appearance on military figures and mercs considerably.
A casual viewer will possibly not spot them, but other customizers surely will.

If you need some, shoot me a PM as I still have a lot of figure kits around from my military figure modelling days.

ya know I don't have ANY of that kind of thing.  If you are willing to part with them freely I'll gladly take them off your hands! pm sent...

IDK yet what I'll do with that mando. Right now it has a clone's head underneath the helmet.  I don't think I have a female head that will fit under the smaller resin helmet either.  I've got a buddy of mine sending me some larger mando helmets to try and cast.  (sorry clint... I want to try it for myself before I make another order from you... but with the way my last few turned out I may be mailing you my alumilite and saying do it for me!)

I'm hoping that bag of stuff I sent you to cast up makes it ya today.  Mostly I'm just curious what you think of all the REALLY random gear I was grabbing.  As it is there's a few things I should ought to have sent but I could always send more later is this stuff ain't that interesting.    :D

I'll get some 1/35 scale pouches and various small parts to you as master pieces, no prob.

A female head which fits under the helmets are, of course, Rav Bralor and Isabet Reau, but also several Padme heads do fit nicely.
I've used one head of the Padme in Naboo Security uniform figure. With a new hair colour you can create an amazingly different look, too.

Sounds like Christmas coming early this year, eh?
I think I also have an Elizabeth Swan head in the parts box and if you say pretty please with sugar on top, I'll even temporarily part with the heads of Rav and Isabet for casting.

I got a 40%off hl coupon burning a hole in my pocket that would help with that. I am going to pick up some more resin with it tomorrow.

:P  I had to order it online, I still can't find hs3 at the hobby lobby near me...

anyways, get a load of this guys.  I finished the custom pilot for my viper-x

well what do you guys think?  I left him raw and unpainted... I kind of like the cobbled together look.  I scrapped the ankle holster too btw, his legs wouldn't fit in the cockpit with it there...

the majority of the figure is the 25th aniversary matt tracker gi-joe figure.

the matt tracker figure comes with a harness that (with a little work as it was glued on) has a removable set of chest armor.

I took the included harnes and cut off the strap that went down between the figures legs, I replaced this with a modified x-wing pilot's strap... i'm not sure who it came off of...

I glued the two harnesses together to form the completed harnes.

I chopped the hoses off of a cone wars space clone figure's face mask and attached chest box.  I glued the chest box onto the front of this figure's harness.  The mask I then glued to a set of random hoses that I had in my foder bin.  The hose then connects to a stripped down IG-86 assassin droid backpack.  Basically I cut off the gun mounts on the backpack untill it was just the center cilander, I think it looks like an oxygen tank then.  I then glued the hoses to them and ran one up under the harness to look like the pressure suit's hose.

and... that's it....

Try putting the holster on the inside of his leg at the calf or ankle if necessary.
I would hate to think of this guy needing firepower and not having any of a handheld type.
No lack of it on his ride.
Awesome work Spuda.
