I like the second one because of the cod piece and leg straps.

I also like the second one...

did I mention this was just a preliminary fitting to make sure it all worked?  things will be reworked and repainted.

thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it!    any more suggestions?  should I use the removable shin guards or the original legs which have the parts already molded on?  I'm not decided yet....

tamer I'll do that to one of the bobas, I want this one to be a jango...  I don't have a super arty jango in my collection so i'm going to try and stay cannon with this one's outfit.

I'll do a new camo one though

and I'm going to redo my "stealth suit boba" in super arty fashion as well.

Naturally, the holsters hang down on the legs, so the lighter rig with the leg straps looks like it really has a pair of Blasters in the holsters. The darker rig would have to have leg straps added or the holsters glued down on the legs so they look realistically weighed down.
If you want a canonic Jango, you'd have to attach leg armor, too, but to be honest, I like the jackboots on the figure. They simply look classic and cool.

I know I need to add leg armor of some kind.

I just don't know whether to use the removable set or to use the original figure's legs like I normally do for these figures....  I think I'll wind up doing the latter because it'll look better.

I agree, I think the normal figs legs fits the best.

well I tried to adjust the original jango legs like I normally do on these figures (like I did it in the tutorial) and I f-ed them up somehow.  It just didn't look right.  I put the maj. bludd legs back together and test fitted the removable shin armor and it actually looks realy good... so that's what I'm going with:

so I've got that figure to paint and I started working on a super articulated version of boba fett (thanks phatty for sending me those two boba figs! this is one of them!).  I couldn't find a good set of joe legs to go on it so I just started trying random sets.  I tried this set and I realy liked the look so I just started adding more and more stuff to the figure and came up with this:

so, I guess you guys will get to see a camo job mando now.

Cool deal, I get a camo mando sooner than later. That is gonna be good.

On the leg note, I love the articulation you are getting, but think the legs need something to make them more movie accurate. Armor perhaps? Maybe when the paint jobs get done I won't notice it as much.

Still, all in all, it is amazing to see you articulate figs that Hasbro seems to never want too. I have a few saga2 atat drivers I would love to see get the superarty treatment and am gonna send a pm sometime in the future if you do not mind.

Hey Spud, that latest Boba is looking real cool. I'm likeing his well equipped look.

Hey, is that latest Legacy Boba the same one that comes in the Evo pack?

yes it is the same boba sculpt as the one in the evo pack.  it has the ball jointed torso and the added details.

The jango and boba that have just been released in the legacy line as single carded figs are the same sculpts as the fett legacy evo packs.

I think I'll add a cod piece to the boba figure but the jango I'm just going to repaint as is.  the boba fig is going to stay very similar to the way I have it now as well.
