Who says that all Mandalorians need to wear the full set of Beskar'gam?
Who says that there is only one type of Beskar'gam?
Although maybe soon no longer SW canon, Karen describes that there are several manufacturers of Beskar armor on Mandalore. I think it is safe to assume that each maker has his own personal variation.
We know that each warrior further modifies his armor so it suits himself and his individual taste and needs best.

Plus in customizing, this prevents our Mando figures from all looking like Jango or Boba.

Steps down from his soapbox now, bows and exits the stage.

Mon Calamari!    Thumbs up, can't ever seen enough Mon Cal customs anyway but it's amazing to see what a huge improvement the articulated knees are!

I guess posting "teaser" pics during the wee hours of the night isn't all that productive...

well... here is my latest figure.  Nothing realy special, it's a remake of my old "self custom"...  If you remember (or just look back through my thread to the first few pages, he's back there somewhere)... I had made a "mandoish" version of myself.  I had sculpted the armor from scratch onto the body of a joe figure and although it was a good attempt I never cared all that much for it.  I also hated that I couldn't find a better head for it than "mutt williams".

anyway, I sought to fix those problems today with this figure.  I replaced the torso and head. I used the same base torso that I did before as I liked it the best, it is the same parts that are on the 25th joe wild bill and the paraviper.  in this case I used a paraviper's parts to replace the old custom's parts.   one thing I'd like to do with this new figure is resculpt the cod piece, I realy liked the way that came out on the first figure and it looks lacking without it on this one.  But I didn't feel like breaking out the apoxi sculpt and having to wait for it to cure to finish this figure...

I went with the new ROC duke head, I had to frankenstein a different neck peg onto the paraviper's shoulders to get the head to sit correctly though.
I'd like to say thanks to Commander Kurgan for the hat and bandanna, they are off a figure he sent me recently with a bunch of stuff to cast up and work on...

hmmm... for some reason my browser is not moveing the reply box down if I type longer than the space provided.... I wonder if it's trying to tell me soemthing?  anyway, here are pics of the Western Mando:

so he's not realy a "self custom" anymore as he doesn't look a thing like me... not that the first version did... but I will say that if I ever make myself a mando costume it'll probably look similar to this in some way.  I love my hat and boots so even though by wearing the hat you can't realy where a helmet I'd probably go that rout.

a reworked mythosaur skull emblem to look more like the skull of a texas longhorn was made for the western mando's shoulder patch.  I thought I'd do up a little photomanip artwork to bring that symbol more in view....

Cool crossover figure, Wyatt Fett...
Gunfight at Keldabe Corral...

I'm glad to see that Lee Scoresby figure was put to good use here.
You may want to try to dremel off his pistol holster, it will look great holding a Jango Westar Blaster.
