awesome desert mando man!! Just great work all around. I love the Western Mando too.

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?

That custom is fantastic!!! Wrapped in some nice legacy collection packaging and i would not be able to resist picking up heaps of them from the stores. Well done on a FANTASTIC custom, and happy new year!!

thanks guys.  I realy liked the way that one turned out too.

clint commented that he was trying to think which figure was his favorite figure that he'd done the last year and it got me thinking which one might be my favorite of my own work...

I've got to say that I probably like my ultimate boba fett figure the best... only because I'd attempted that one before and I was never satisfied with the way it turned out.  Now that I have this one finished I think it is one of the best, most detailed, most intricate customs I've done...

but like clint pointed out with his...  there is always room for improvement...  I can't wait to see what I come up with this year :)

here's a fig I just finished on commission for someone I'm making a large order for:

cyborg mando.
this guy was severely wounded in battle and had to have both his right leg and arm replaced.  He also requires a breathing apparatus to keep him alive.

the basic figure is that of the new legacy jango, which is based on the evo-pack jango.  I've replaced the lower half of his leg with a BAD part (not sure which one it was) and his right arm was replaced with that of a VvV gi-joe BAT figures arm (which was heavilly modified to give it more range of movement).  The head and breathing apparatus are that of the ROC Gi-joe  "the doctor" rex figure.  I had to dremel out the head socket to get the joe head to fit on the jango neck ball.  The helmet is a custom cast resin helmet which has part of the faceplate cut away to fit over the breathing machine.
One thing I realy love about making these resin helmets is that if you get them out of the mold wile they are still soft you can make them stretch and form fit to figure's whose heads would normally be too big for the original helmet...

cyborg Mando, hell yes.   That's one of the best customs you've done, Spud, wicked awesome use of random BAD limbs.

Sweet Cyborg Mando, Spud! Now there's a mando bucket mod that worked out great. Very nicely done. I'll bet that the buyer is pleased.

Wounded but still going strong.
After all, this is what might happen to a warrior who doesn't shy away at the sound of battle.
Very nice figure, Devin!

As everyone has said that is a great one Devin. The helmet mod over the Doc's face is very cool, as are the robotic limbs. Awesome figure man!
