I just need to find me the version of her movie figure that has the hair pulled back....

You got one from me in the parts set I sent you, right?
The one that had the massive ponytail, not the thin braids like the Mando girls.

Hey spuda...how did you attach the scarlet body to the upper star wars body?

If I missed that in your thread I apologize.

Mandalore read the front page it's on their, even has videos to go with doing up these types of swaps.

Loving the figure Spuda, and if you want to get rid of that head I might have something to trade from my fodder box, can always use decent female heads.

cimter is right, there are a few threads in the resources and references section with links to my youtube videos that are decent tutorials on the process,
here is a link to my "video tutorial" thread that has links to all of them:

lol everyone wants her head?! it's not up for grabs :( I'm sorry.  I might eventually make a resin cast of the firestar hair piece though, that way It could be used on any different female figure's head.

I do have the one female head that you sent me kurgan, the one with the multiple looped braids in the back and I ALMOST used that one... the helmet didn't fit very well over the braids though.  I'll get a photo of it on the figure, plus a few other head options, and then you guys can decide which head will be the final head....

narceron, the pilot scarlet head is too small.  it looks disproportionate, and the large x-wing helmet swallows it!

Ah, you mean the Sigel Dare head.
It's a great sculpt and very nicely painted.
Wasn't there another ROC Scarlett head in the bundle?

For now, don't worry about it... but I might take you up on the offer in the future!

just a little look ahead to what I'll be posting this week...

Just grabbed another 10.00 marked down rebel pilot legacy III pack and a couple joes so expect to see a few more super arty x-wing pilots.

I also started work on a super arty mandalore the indominable...  I'm going to try my hand at making an "old school" mando.

If I can find enough parts for him, I'm also going to work on a Mandalorian Super Commando using a cast resin royal guard helmet as the helmet base...  I just need to find another legacy jango or boba for the base figure.

LOL that made my night.  I got the new head for her today... so she'll have two swappable heads.  One in the "flight ready" hair pulled into a pony tail, and the other (current head) with the more relaxed, hair let down, position.

I've started gathering materials for mandalore tonight...  I'm going to try and go all out on him and incorporate as many soft goods as I can...  Amazingly enough I found a realy nice material in my first aid kit!  It's a gauze sheet that is lightweight and small enough to use for the action figure, and absorbant enough that it should soak in paint or die realy well....  so I'm going to start with that tonight, Just have to decide on a head to use as I want it to have a removable helmet... but not sure yet how I am going to do that...
