Wow, you have been busy! Nice work on all but my faves are the death trooper, your updated mando and you figure stand! That stand is very well done man! I love the Embo paltron and the Zuckus bits added to the side of the helmet! Awesome updates!

I'm a Mando fan, pure & simple - and yours is out-friggin-standing!  I dunno about that cannister-thing jutting out like that - seems a bit too long, based on my own experiences with gas-masks.  BUT!  It is a fabulous piece of work.

That Emperor is awesome.  No, you can't tell what all you did to it - and to me THAT is the sign of a great custom!  I know looking at it, it just looks far better than any stock Emperor I've encountered.  But then finding out all the effort and parts that went into it - that's genius.   Very well done, sir!

wow, thanx fellas, that means the world to me.to read those comments from such great customizers  :'(.good to know you guys really like them, because this is my newest form of artistry.besides playing my Bass, and drawing,I have the most fun making customs.I'm glad to be able to show these to you guys, because if I didn't,well then they'd just be there for me to appreciate, and that would be boring   :-\.I may have some more up tonight I hope.

thanx doc.you may be right about the gas mask part of the helm,I could probably trim it down a bit.good observation.I usually end up screwing it up,but I think the newer zuckuss has a smaller one, good thing I have a spare to work with.thanx, those are the other comments I like the best, because you guys have a great eye for detail where as I may have missed that.scale matters a lot to me,and is important to keep in mind when working with such small figures. the reason i like my new Emperor is because he looks good in my normal collection, and no one can tell the difference.the next collection figure I have that I'd love to work on is my Darth Nihilus.I love that character, but he's too short, and he looks different then in the game(which is the version I like better, not the comic book version Hasbro went with)so hopefully I get the fodder to upgrade him soon.

Well, the main reason it sticks out (haha) to me is that just before I got out of the Corps, we transitioned from the old M17 gas-mask with internal filters to the M40 which has a large external cannister hanging off the left cheek.  They definitely *felt* unwieldy after the more streamlined M17!  So any time I see a face-mask of some sort on a fig, I always look to see just how much it sticks out and compare it to my old gas-mask.  :D

But hey - now you've got me thinking about SMALL cannisters that we have available on figures that might work on a Mando helmet.  I'm thinking the little pieces off a "Vader's Medical Droid" might look pretty cool.  HA!  Now I have a new something to work on!  (like I NEED another...)

I don't have that figure,or do I?I have the tall one with all the arms and stuff on it.they would make cool additions to a mando helm, and the cannisters on him come in cool colors already,I think were on to something here Doc.uh oh ;D
P.S.I put up a picture I did on the paint program in the artwork section here.everyone feel free to check it out.

Sounds like you have the FX-6 and yes, I'd forgotten they have stuff that would work, as well!  The other one is a three-legged droid with almost axe-looking arms.  hehe - Now I'm back to designing my aquatic-armored Mando!

Great stuff on this thread, I really like the Emperor what did you use for the hood? Also the stand that you made is really nice did you model the rocks or are they real? Keep it up and I want to see more of your work!

I am really liking Kell!  I like the updates you made with the EVO legs instead of the far-too-thin CW styled ones.

Love the grey/orange color scheme; works really well on this guy.  Every one of the pieces you used--Embo's armor, the helmet breather mods---works extremely well.  I think I'm going to borrow your idea on modding a Mando helmet in this way!

Nice work!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

well the Hood is from the legacy hologram Emperor I think.the rocks are from a Dio kit from michals.you have to make the paste, then pour that into the mold provided, and then after it dries, you paint them.I just glued it to the stand after all that, then added the sand and shrubbs, all from michals as well.
