I like the direction you're heading with the Vos/Mando fig; can't wait to see your finalized version.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Thanks for the replies everyone.

It's a drybrush with some silver, I use a thicker brush with some coarser hair, I just make sure there's only a slight amount of paint in the bristles and apply a firm back and forth motion where I want the weathering.  :)

That new astromech looks awesome!  I'm also diggin' the use of a magnet to hold on the lightsaber.  I never thought of that before...I usually use magnets to hold on backpacks so they are swappable between all my customs.

Your astromech...it looks stolen.  I am going to half to confiscate it.

Lol, this astromech is like a character from a Charles Dickens novel.  Poor thing needs a little tlc.

So I recently picked up the "Discover the Force" Aurra Sing from Wal-Mart and was disappointed when I pulled her out of package. Her legs were very short and she looked to me really miss-proportioned, so I boil and popped her legs and replaced them with the CW Aurra Sing legs. I think this helped tremendously with her height and overall look of the figure. I need to touch up the paint just above the boots to have it match better, but I am pleased with the results. Let me know what you guys think, cheers.  :)

My girlfriend got me an HK-50 for Valentines Day, I didn't care for the blue color and wanted to make it look more like HK-47.

Let me know what you think  :)

Wow...That droid paint job is amazing. It really looks like it is made of rusted metal. Great work.

Re: Lostcauze501st Customs - Ares Star Wars style.

It's been a while since I've posted a custom figure so here's on thats been on my bench for the past couple of days. One of my favorite marvel characters is Ares, so I wanted to make my own rendition of how I think he would look in the Star Wars universe.

Recipe:
Torso = War Machine
Right Arm = Retaliation three pack roadblock with camo removed
Left Arm = Rise of Cobra Heavy Duty
Lower Torso = Arti Destro
Legs = Rise of Cobra Duke Accelerator Armor
Belt = Anakin
Helmet = Clone Wars Captain Argyus
Head = Retaliation Firefly

Still have a few tweaks to add to him and I plan on loading him up with a ton of weaponry. Let me know what you think, thanks.

That is really friggin' cool!  I love the mechanized look; it works very well for this character.  Excellent parts choices; they blend together seamlessly!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!
