Not that I can prove it lately, I've found that sometimes I can take a break from the hobby and return with a strangely improved skillset which is certainly what we are witnessing here with your work, Devon. Your latest works show more polish and thought to detail than your older stuff, if that were possible. You are a borne custom builder, my friend.
Yeah, I've noticed that too. I feel like my concentration is better after I take a break from it for a while. I build up a reptoire of ideas and then when I finally feel like getting back to it everything just falls together...
admittingly, for "blondie" I sat staring at every female figure I had in my fodder box wondering how the heck I was going to put it together and make it not look like a repainted agent helix. I think I wound up using parts from nearly 5 figures for her... including inadvertently destroying a cad bane figure in the process!
I personally didn't like how short the legs were that Hasbro sculpted on the new version, but you've definitely fixed that issue. Yours looks phenomenal!
The shorter legged ones are the clone wars version. The cartoon figure is grossly disproportionate. They have tiny little legs, and also do so in the cartoon. I haven't done anything to this figure's legs and they are stock. It's from the newest re-released Episode 1 figures. It also comes with a large bubble forcefield.
