so... with the contest fueling my urge to get back into the hobby now that I'm home I've put together a few fun little things.  one project I'll keep on the DL on here, but if your a friend of "spudafett's custom toys" on facebook then you'll get to see a behind the scenes progression of the project in all its stages!!!

Like it here if you haven't already!:  http://www.facebook.com/pages/SpudaFetts-Custom-toys/275038512535165

but anyway, here's  a fun little thing I put together.  I had a MIB J figure and although they built them with relatively decent articulation I just didn't like the style, so I put the jacket on a joe body and after some heavy modifications and part swapping came up with a pretty decent looking tuxedo base body....

on this tuxedo figure I can swap heads and accessories to now make a myriad of figures.  It's the perfect custom for almost halloween time!

with super articulation, joe style, this figure is highly posable as well!

Well I sure don't like the sound of that Devin, but I know how limited time gets on the internet.

Your update is on the fp.

I'll still lurk... but honestly it's a lot easier to just upload strait to facebook and DA and then reference everything there.  Its tedious to repeat myself on 4 different sites that I frequent...

again if anyone needs a link to my Deviantart site: http://spudafett.deviantart.com/
and my facebook page:                                     http://www.facebook.com/pages/SpudaFetts-Custom-toys/275038512535165

I will be honest, Facebook is sometimes like doing internet searches for me. I get so lost in some of it sometimes that it is just usually counterproductive so it is easier for me to focus here. Facebook also seems to change their posting policies so much friends can't even see other friend's posts sometimes. It is one of those things where they get you hooked and then change things on you.

That is definitely one thing that won't happen here.

that's true.  Sometimes it does feel that way.  I'm hoping they don't change the groups and pages set ups too often though.  I think they've finally got it pretty strait forward with the current timeline set ups... but then again... who knows.

I'll still be posting here minimally.

Re: Spuda's customs jungle bat
« Reply #280 on: October 31, 2012, 09:05:44 PM »

because I'll never find the stock version for cheap I created my own.

A jungle bat is everything Cobra needs to clear a path through the dense tropical jungle. Outfitted with a chainsaw arm, flame thrower, and mini-gun attachments to compliment a standard machete and axe these machines are definitely not tree huggers!

Cobra has done it again... remotely controled or under their own artificial inteligence cobra's new sky B.A.T can wreak havoc on the joes from above. With a jet propelled set of wings the sky bat can be deployed from a distance. Once over it's target each sky bat can drop it's payload of bombs, use it's mini-gun to rain lead, or when the ammo runs out, rip apart it's prey with razor sharp tallons... Once on the ground it's wings fold back and the sky Bat's "Human Armament Networking Devices" or HANDS can pick up any weapon on the battlefield!

Cobra's evil scientist Overkill was obsessed with creating the perfect expendible soldier, when an unfortunate accident rendered him mangled and broken. Using his Battle Android technology he created more than just replacement limbs... Overkill became the perfect blend of man and machine, and the perfect leader of the B.A.Ts....
