Your 2.5" Sandies look great mate and the alteration you did to the head is perfect and the paint apps are great.

Your Kasshyyyk Scout is awesome and I live the Gillie suit.

WOW Ron, from you that means a lot.  I see so many issues with my paint apps.  Yours are always flawless.

I plan on making a little dio in the same fashion as yours to set on my desk at school.  Did you mold their stands into the dio or did you cut them free and glue them to a new one?

No worries at all buddy and there is nothing wrong at all with your paints apps there spoton.

I did cut off the figure from the stand but instead off just cutting straight underneath the foot I cut around the foot and cut straight down so that there was still some base left under the feet. I did this so that I could just insert the figure straight into the plaster and then play around with the plaster so that it appears that I just glued the figure to the base.

Nice.  That's a great idea.  I'll probably try and do that.  I'm wanting to use actual sand and glue onto the base around the figures to create a more natural texture instead of just using plaster like you have.  I figure I'll use something like plaster to create the initial surface, then use elmers or epoxy to glue on a layer of sand.

Been trying to find a way to add more substance to it too though... would love to have a vehicle or something in there with them.   Know of any other lines that fit in with this small scale??

Yeah I only used a little sand mixed into the plaster but I see where you are going and it's a great idea. As for vehicles that is a good question and the only things that come to mind is those SW battle packs but I don't remember them coing with alot of vehicles thou.

I am really liking these Command Customs you two are doing. We featured them on CAFN last night. Good stuff.

Where did Jango's jet pack come from? Is it a cast or custom made?

krztfr:  The jetpack is the boba fett pack re-arranged with a new sculpted rocket.  Check out my facebook page's gallery for more images from the build.

Finished.  For those keeping score at home, here is a list of modifications from the original boba:

Trimmed off thigh pockets and shin pockets/tools
Removed belt and cut apart pouches, creating entirely new belt out of faux leather
Total repaint
Added 4 new "hoses", 2 for each gauntlet
Sculpted new shin armor and filled in holes from removing thigh pockets
Filled in dent in helmet and cape hole
added styrene armor to thighs, using a lighter to heat up styrene and shape it to fit
used same technique to add boot armor
scratch built 2 blasters
re-built jetpack using original as base.

and here you go:
