Alright folks,
I'm sure you're all chomping at the bite to see what I'm gonna load into this place.....Well....

As you can see I've already started on the Jedi Archives (I.E. Jedi Library) That will actually be 2 floors, there will be a balcony with more bookshelves above. I am also adding a Meditation Room, Jedi Training Room (Where Yoda trained the youndlings in AOTC), Briefing/Comm Room as seen in ROTS after Anakin meditates with Yoda, a Holocron Vault (that may even light up as to accomidate my holocron toy from (holocron Heist), Of course the Jedi Council Chamber that will actually be a round room above everything else, accessable by turbolift, and I'm even trying to work in a hanger bay to house my jedi starfighters. Oh yeah, and there will be a 2 floor main hallways with balconies as seen in ROTS after Anakin attackes the temple.

If you have any suggestions or ideas that would better suit the temple please let me know and I'll see if it would be easier or more popular than what I have planned.

And again, please stay tuned as this build progresses because it will be epic or lengen......wait for it.......dary!

Later-
Ryan

This is sweet and is now on the front page.

How I wish Hasbro would make us things like this, if even just out of cardboard! Thank you for sharing it with us and I am really enjoying  your work.

Definitely impressed!  You've done wonders with the materials you chose; I'm now really interested in how the rest of this turns out.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Hey everyone,
First let me start out by saying thank you to everyone who commented and offered praise, that is a major driving force of not rushing this and keeping everything sharp.

Updates:
I did a little more work today. I got the second floor built complete with those bookshelves as well. I also added the support columns to the first floor, and I'm working on the second floors columns. Granted these aren't really support columns for the dio itself, but are like the ones seen in the movie. For any of you following along or trying this at home. A good reference point or suggestion is to make each of your floors or levels 6 inches tall. That offers a decent height for the figures without wasting too much space.

The Columns:
I personally used PVC tubing I had in the shop, each piece cut to 6 inches, and then I wrapped them in Foil Tape that you would use for duct work. It made them look really shiney and really pop! Once those were covered they get glued into the front of each set of shelves giving the appearence that this is all one big shelf on each row. I still might mod the back area of the library if I add the Holocron vault, because as we've seen in TCW the holocron vault is off of the library, but i'm just not sure how I want to do it yet. I'll have some more pictures up tomorrow for you all to see, and I think you'll all be pretty pleased.

Thanks again,
Ryan

Alright everyone, as you can see by the pictures I've done a lot of work today. I finished the columns on the second level, put the details around the lower columns, and even added a railing. Believe me my hand is killing me from cutting out all of those holes in the railing. I still have to add the computer terminal table, columns for the lsot 20 busts, and of course the busts themselves. Let me know what you think of the updates.
