hi guys ,here are some work in progress pics of 2 customs comissioned by NFC (i'd just like to thank him for his patience) the brief was to produce an R5 astromech inspired by the comic pack R2-D2 and an R2 astromech that wouldn't look out of place at the outlander club, the WIP 's are of the R5.....
the R5 is a B.A.D. droid and for some reason i had major basecoating problems ..which i eventually overcame....

theres more to do on the R5,back panels and detailing(till i'm happy with it ...) and at the same time i'm cooking up designs for the R2.......... i want NFC to be blown away by his comissions only then am i happy.. :)

so the INCREDIBLE custom painted astromechs I comissioned Jay to paint for me showed up the other day.   The R5 unit was painted specifically to go with a unit of Both spies I wanted to do.

here's a really good look at Wraithnine's amazing R5-81N

I wanted R2-7AC here to look like it''s owned by/property of/employed at the Outlander Club on Coruscant and I told Jay to run amok and make up whatever color scheme he thought was apprporiate.    Daaaaamn, he succeeded in spades, I LOVE this astro droid.

Jay, thanks again for these droids, I love them as much as some of my own customs.

heres a new figure and an update  i have named the clone trooper and his unit and he now has a comrade
heres Twitch and Grimm from the 292nd assault brigade.

After a gruelling battle on Drexal IV they earned the nickname "the sand wolves"(a ferocious land mammal from that world)
and took the wolfs head symbol as their unit patch, the knife on their right knee pad denotes 1st company the troopers are allowed 1 further mark on their armour
twitch has a wolf's paw print on his shoulder

Grimm has the skull and crossbones on his helmet

together
