Have you considered finding a way to light the laser bolts?  Maybe if there are wires fine enough or something?  Just a thought....

The colours and the depth of field make it look like an image from a comic book, it's such an awesome creation.

You have created something magical here....simply stunning and definitely this years top custom creation.
