Spookymufu, I'm wanting to create the ridge from the scene. Pretty easy to do, but I'll need more depth to pull off the illusion. Plus, the trench, Rebel base hangar entrance, mountain with ion cannon... Just stuff like that. Thanks for looking.

That is most excellent news. 

As for raising it, you might want to consider taking the route model railroaders do and making "trap doors" in it so you can reach sections.  Can't wait to see the ion cannon!!

I wonder what red leds in small diamater clear tubes would look like? Guess it could look dorky, especially if you couldn't keep them all in the same straight line. Daggone great idea though.

Thanks Tamer. I thought of doing something like that, but I've yet to discover the wonderful world of advanced lighting. I need to watch some tutorials on it. I've made some improvements and will have pix tomorrow.

Barry, that looks fantastic! What are you doing to get the red blaster bolts? I could see fishing line stretched between the 2 vehicles. Then add hot glue to the line in several areas then paint the hot glue red.

L.E., I'm using this stuff I found laying in my house called 'puffy' paint. I've applied a thicker later last night, and I'm gonna repaint today with new pix. The puffy paint sorta swells and seems ideal for this.
