Wow! I am in awe...and I can't pick out a favorite. They are all amazing! I am going to have to scroll through these a few more times just to be able to take it all in.

Craziness!. I am really liking the Zabrak warlord guy. Also the Realistic Savage is really neat. I wanna guess that the head is from a punisher with a shaved head??

Head is from Savage Opress and MU Cable.  I chopped Cable's head off at the brow, ten I did the same for savage, I had to also split Savage's Crown in half to fit on Cables head.  After that, a lot of sculpting to blend the pieces.

Thanks everybody for all the comments.  Vader's Fist just came out of fodder!  I had my Holo vader's head after doing my "Vader's Last Stand figure" and decided to do a mech with a HoLO vader head...the squad just came together after that.
I almost guessed Cable but the little eye thing he has I couldn't remember if it was sculpted or painted so I went with punisher. It works well man!

Awesome job! Nihilus is hands-down one the of the eeriest Sith-Lords, and you brought that out in your work.

I love the array of characters here, but the Bane and Nihilus definitely stand out to me.  The Nihilus looks particularly impressive, more so because of the plastic cloak instead of soft goods.  I like how you were able to get this to come out.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

This week PackRatStudios goes Comic Book with...

VENOM THE MADNESS

Up on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Marvel-Legends-VENOM-the-MADNESS-Select-DC-Universe-SPIDERMAN-LARGE-BAF-/121103041969?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item1c324dc5b1

More pics and info on my facebook:https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pack-Rat-Studios/210025619031803?ref=hl

Marvel Select's new Venom figure is by far the best venom we have seen in a long time, especially because he came with so many extras! I decided to take the Madness add on and create a Venom the Madness figure that really lives up to the comics, and the toybiz figure of the 90s.

I used a Marvel Select Ultimate Venom (the large one) as the base. I then cut off the ball joint necks off the new venom's madness accessory, attached them to the Ultimate venom's shoulder's and back. I used armature wire and hot glue to get them into the height and position I wanted them, I then sculpted them, blending the texture into the body. The Main head (I used one of the alternates from the new MS venom) needed a ball joint *the Ultimate venom's head was just a cut joint. I cut a neck/ball joint off of a LOTR Urik-Hai figure glued it on, and re-sculpted.

The figure features 8 arms. I used the Add ons from the new venom as well as some older venom arms I had in my fodder box. I attached the ball joints to the shoulders (does not hinder articulation, since shoulders are so large) these arms come from the new venom, as do the smaller arms that plug into the forearms. On his back he has to ball jointed arms that attach via peg and magnet.

Painted semi-gloss black, and drybrushed dark blue/grey

Wow. You just cover every angle. On the front page.

Oh, I am not sure about the link you used for ebay, but it wouldn't go anywhere for me so I searched for you on ebay and found the madness link. I hope you don't mind that I fixed it.

Madripoor Wolverine and Concept Silver Samurai

Im sure most, if not all of us have seen the trailer shots of the Silver Samurai from this Summers The Wolverine. So far, I am not impressed, it seems like it might be a large mech suit or some sort of robot? Don’t know for sureyet, but I wanted to create a Silver Samurai figure that combines some new tech with that old world samurai we are used to.  Also, the fact that it seems as though we are only getting 4 inch, 5 points of articulation Wolverine figures this summer from Hasbro, kicked my pants into action to make this figure!  And I think Wolverine has some of the coolest foes!

My Silver Samurai figure stands a whopping 7.5 inches tall, to the tips of his horns! Fully articulated, the Pectoral/Chest joints work perfect for sword handling! The sword features an effect add on, to give this silver samurai his energy burst!

Figure was built with a Crysis Nano Suit figure as the base, with lots of fodder, including some Spawn Samurai Wars bits. Head was built from a heavily modified Chrome Dome (I KNOW, its perfect for Silver Samurai!) lower face is from Savage Dragon. The Sword and effect from fodder bin, haven't a clue who or where they are from.

Now to Wolverine, Wolverine is in his Black Jumpsuit, aka: Madripoor Wolverine! With real STEEL Claws to boot!

This Wolverine was built from a Wolverine figure's torso and down to the knees, arms from a logan figure, fists from a DCU figure, and lower legs are heavily modified (sculpt to beef up, and cut down for height) ML Namor legs.  Wolverine Stands at about 5.5 inches tall.  Claws are Sail Sewing Needles (Jin Saotome’s idea)
