WIP 6 inch G.I. Joe Blowtorch

Parts:
Base body - Walking Dead Gas mask Zombie
Helmet -Cast of Riot Gear Zombie
O-rings for armor accents to match original Blowtorch
Kit bash flame thrower
Still working on fuel tank back pack

Will post update once first coat of paint is applied. Going with the color scheme of the ARAH Blowtorch. Will be boiling the hands to better form a grip on the flame thrower.

For the head I dremeled off the zombie zombie face to make the gas mask face fit more flush to the head.

I like it! Interesting idea for a custom figure scaling a Joe up. Also interesting but logical idea for the base figure. Did you swap out a head? Or are you leaving the zombie head on and making the helmet mask non removable? I cant wait to see how you paint this guy.

Thanks all.

I'm leaving the Zombie head in tact. The head and helmet will all be one piece. I wanted it to be removable but did have a head to put in it's spot. I removed the original visor as it became discolored when I tried to remove the blood splatter. I used Testors window maker to fill in a new visor and also used the window maker to fill in the gaps between the O rings and the base body.
I have spray painted him all yellow and the paint just didn't take like I had hoped so I will be repainting by hand. Think I'm going to section him off and complete the lower half first, then the upper then the flame thrower.

Here is where I stand so far on Blowtorch. Painting is basically done on the done. Debating on a coating of wash though. Going to get started on the pack and torch. Going to try to fix the front of the helmet if possible.

Thanks, I got the helmet from Tri gate creations years ago in a fodder junk bag. I had to fix it up as he had a hole in the top and needed lots of dremeling to clean it up.

Finally finished Blowtorch

The flash covered the wash I put on him but the last picture shows I did dirty him up a bit.
