Today was one of those days with goods and bads thrown in, so overall the day was okay.  I got the final coat of finish on, and I also got the felt inserts for the bottom completed.  Now all I have to do is finish up with tomorrow's steps and then the project is complete!

Today was a great day!  I got the project in Tech. Ed. complete, which looks great.  Tomorrow we get to grade it, and I found out today I have straight A's, same as last marking period!

Today was a great closer to the week.  I got the project done in Tech. Ed. as I told you yesterday, and gave myself a grading evaluation.  All that's needed now is the teacher's and I'm home free from that project.  As of now, I'm working on a sheet metal box for extra credit, which seems way more fun than the wooden box project.  I hope that Christmas gets here fast, but not too fast.  My friend's coming home for the holiday's, so I'll have him over or vice versa.  That's about all I have to log for today.

Our Christmas break begins on the Eve of Christmas, so Thursday the 24th, to January the 4th, or Monday.  Do you have a break, Clint?  If so, how long?

More of a break than I had wished for, I'm afraid, Dan.  I haven't worked in two weeks now. The question is, when will my company pick up enough jobs so that I can go back to work?

I'm a union Ironworker, Dan. I have done that for 15 years now and have had a good life doing it. The economical situation this year has slowed down the construction trade and thus, has limited the amount of jobs that my company can bid on. Last year was my best year ever as far as how much I made and this year is going to be the worst as far as how much I worked.

Well, I guess I'm going to have to go out back and heave my way into our closet (jammed door and broken handle) to get the shovel out.  The snows pretty high, so I'll be lucky if I can even get that far.

I had no luck with it, so now my dad's going to come here with his "big screwdriver" and try and get the door open.  The ice is frozen over it, so I doubt he has a big chance of getting it open.  Will report back later.
