so looking at the reference shot, is that chip supposed to glow, or, is that just a reflection of light on metal?

I am guessing there is metal under the clear five plastic rectangular pieces if I had to guess. It also seems to me that said rectangular pieces kind of follow the circular form along the edge of the metal washer too. I would sure love to have you on the case of this Clint.

well insetting some metal or foil under the rectangular pieces wouldn't be a problem if that is the case. I swear that it looks like it is lit up. Tamer, we need another shot of the on screen version.

it looks like it's just reflecting the light off the clear plastic pieces to me. That metal thing looks like a piece of an old earphone, the speaker part, remember those orange headphones we all had back in the 80's and our parents complained we always had those "things" ion our heads? yeah those

They are not lighted up. It's just a set of plastic tabs added to that comm pad.

Here is that image enlarged a bit. I am gonna watch that scene and try to get a less blurry pic. To me they are now looking perhaps less plastic and perhaps more metal. Still think some metal strips under some clear plastic might be the ticket.

A blu ray screen shot would do maybe even better, but can that be done? Heard it is not easy to have a BR screenshot

Well that was from an hd camera of the blu ray Serg.  I am guessing you would need to do hd video and then do a snipping grab perhaps.

The more I look at it, the more metal it looks. Seems to catch the same glare at the circular metal washer.

I like that last shot the best. Yeah, it's got to be a reflection. Man, Shawn, we could make one of those.

Well today I started dressing the Mannetamer with what supplies I still have. I had to do a bit of retooling and got him dressed. He stands ok, but not good enough for me to leave him unsupported in a MonCal Suit. I have found some plans to build a support stand with a circular base that I think will look better than the previous ideas we had of doing a strap affair to one of the boots and it offers under armpit support which will make me feel better leaving it displayed. Still, for thirty bucks and some bubble wrap I ain't complaining too much. My scatch built hands worked like a charm too.
