Yepper I did. And thanks Clint. I would love to talk some of my ISY friends like you into doing costumes, let alone more Driver versions. We could form our own armored calvary detachment.

Looking good Shawn! Congrats on the 501st!

Thanks Spry, it feels pretty good knowing my costume was picked apart by a panel of judges before I was given the approval too. With my garrison it was a panel of judges not just one that looked at my pics.

Nah, I am only 5 7 Jay and I plan on putting together a TK for my next costume. That is still a long time away, but don't let that stop you.

And Scott, I think Ewoks would have to go to the Rebel Legion unless he were a Sith Ewok. Now that would be interesting.

Got these replica comm tech chip parts in the mail the other day.
Now the two pieces on the right would be easy enough to replicate and the rectangle piece was resin anyways.
Now the funky electronic piece with all of the half staples, didnt we think it wasnt screen accurate anyways?

Wow, think the first one he sent me was not resin. Must have decided to start casting them. I think mine was made out of wood, but could be wrong. I think casting is a great idea.

And yes that funky staple piece was the thing I wanted to replace as you are correct it is not screen accurate at all to my thinking.

Ok here is kind of what we want to create:

Here are the best movie shots I was able to get from the Blu-Ray DVD:

I guess it might still be better if you que TESB on your high def tv to that spot (right before they blow up the power generator when the rebels are in full retreat) as there is just a few seconds of footage showing this from the movie.

it all looks a bit different. I will have to try to fab up one of the clear pieces that stack together to make the 5. Looks like each individual piece could be an L-shape rounded on the one end and rounded the other way at the top outside angle of the L wth a rectangle shaped recess either on the topside or the bottom side on the long end toward the washer. I have a square wood dowel that we can try to troubleshoot the shape from.
