R1,

great to see you here. Thanks for your comment and I'm sorry I've not been so active in looking at your work. Last thing I checked out was a post entitled R1bb1t takes a shower or something along those words, plus I keep seeing your legendry house sized dioramas popping up here and there...I still can't get over how mad it is!

Speak soon

J

Doc, once again you have helped me without knowing it...

You posted a comment somewhere about shoving figures in a microwave for 2 minutes to soften them up, well that was just the info I needed to get me going.

Last night I had a bit of a mess around with some figures as I needed to create a gang for the novel. Here they are..."The Gutter Firm"

Oh yeah, I like the looks of that group.
I'm surprised that one of em isn't weilding a baseball bat.

Just the type of backstreet thugs you expect to see in the lower levels of Coruscant.
Cool stuff!

PS: I'm planning a custom of Captain Jaller Obrim, Coruscant Security Forces. "Freeze scumbag or name your beneficiary..."

Commander, I've just popped over to your Customs post....Love the 175th Special Operations Group, I especially like your dry brushing technique, you seem to have nailed the weathered look..not too much, not too little.

I've posted a comment there also!

Thanks for keeping an eye on me!

Big Hug... ;D

Good stuff!!  I'm tellin' ya, I can see at least half a dozen shivs, 4 or 5 holdout blasters, and a couple of saps in there.  And a security toolkit or two...

Those jokers look like business.  BAD business.

Major downer...I was just about to send in my images to Hasbro when I read the T & C's, it's only open to people who live in the U.S.... :-[

It's just as well, I wouldn't want to deprive you yanks of your prize...

As I got the images ready, here they are....

I'm thinking I might do a quick "Inside the Hangarbay" vid of the platform, showing how it's all put together...

Once again, thanks for watching folks!

Oh no! Say it isn't so! I didn't read or remember that part. That just downright stinks. This is perhaps to most awesome platform I have seen. What a daggone shame.

Jules, that is a bum deal. From my international sales I know how many hasbro fans there are outside of the us.
I figure that your platform would me a shoe-in but I am releaved somewhat to be free of a major competitor in this competition.

I know one thing. Jules for sure would have been in the top running if he could have entered his. Yeah, I plan on turning my pine chamber more and more Star Wars the more winters I get to work on it.

If you had Jule's platform you would make a special place for it in the basement, right Tamer?
Those pics are just stunning, Jules.
