I am currently based in the U.K, I am curious as to why you asked, am I in trouble?

Score!!   ;D

Love the guy on his back, checking underneath.  Can't be too careful with these Imperial surplus vehicles!

Once again, I love the concept here. I must say I haven't see anytihng yet that you do not excell in. I wish I had your photo editing skills among others. Awesome idea and I am eagerly anticipating how this turns out. I really liked that new transport too. Can't wait to see how that turns out too.

Hello all,

I'm a long time lurker but first time poster.  Dang though, I had to get me an account when I saw someone take apart the old Imperial Troop Transport.  See a couple months ago I had this grand idea to fix the sound effects on my old one.  The buttons actually produced sound; it was  just that the phrases didn't necessarily correspond to the right button, and they were random.  Well my grand idea fell flat and now it doesn't work at all.  Heck , I think it would work if I could put the thing back together right.

Hangar Bay 94, did you do a better job noting placement of parts within the sound effects device when you took it apart?

If not, no big deal.  Just thought I'd ask.  Thanks.

B.R Steel,

I'm glad my post got you involved, I fully understand why though, the Imperial Troop Transport is a unique piece of Star Wars Toy history.

In answer to your question I had no luck in repairing the sound module, but I did manage to re-use the battery pack and switch unit for the LED lighting I installed.
The other thing I learned is that this baby is a hard thing to customise, any colour other than grey or black looks odd. I intend on returning the vehicle to an imperial transport for later use in my novel.

All the best,

Hangarbay.

Thanks for the welcomes all!

Yeah, I figured as much on the sound device.  Maybe I can get in contact with some old Kenner designer who knows the ins and outs of this old vehicle.  (Yeah right...huh?)

This is an exclusive...

These are my first production imags from my forthcoming photonovel, I've finished off the story and have build the first couple of sets. Here are some stills from the first scene of the project.

Very nice work, HB! The lighting in those shots is perfect. I will put that on the FP, tonight if no one beats me to it.
