Its been a great few days on this site, Psyclone has personally destroyed my confidence, but I  must dust myself off and press on with my mission...

My friend over in Canada Ron2k3 has been putting together a CGI ship for Commodore Vasq, this is a completely new ship design in the Star Wars Universe, made especially for the Novel.

The story goes that it was originally designed as a T-wing Assault Carrier, but was rejected for the Venitor All Purpose Destroyer. Vasq commendeered the only prototype and has converted it to his personal specification. When this baby turns up, be afraid....very afraid.

At the moment the ship is going through it's final design phase, I've added the hull detailing which Ron will CGI on for me.

I hope you like...

It looks like a flying Death Star Gunner's helmet - which makes it look very Imperial.  Very cool ship!

That's what it reminds me of!  Pretty cool looking.  I've been following HB94's work with customs and the photo-novel and it's all looking really nice.

Nice looking ship. Is this for Darkchild? Commodore Vasq? I am sure curious about this now.

thanks guys, and Psyclone, I am really "chuffed" (English word meaning really pleased) that you have been following my work.

Tamer....Yes it's for Darkchild....Commodore Vasq is this guy

Ron's adding Tie style radiator panels to the side fins and turbo lasers to the front hull section. I think I might call her the "Spectre"....I'll post an update shortly.

P.S I have really been enjoying snooping about in the Customs Section over the last couple of days...

The ship looks cool, Jules. You will have to show us its complete state.

Tamer, cool down...I'm still waiting for Doc's custons, blame him.

I've still got a way to go but I promise you, it's going to be worth the wait.

Narceron,

Have no fear, I'm going to post a link to all of the panels I've got when I release the next chapter of Darkchild.

Ron and I have been working on the "Spectre", I wanted to see what it would look like with Tie Fighter type radiators, an indication of the Imperial Ship designs to come.

We've still got some major "Turbo Cannonige" to add yet, but I'm plesed with the overall design. It's a bit different to the norm, but that's what I'm trying to achieve in the story, something a bit different....

Nice shot, Jules! For some reason, that ship reminds me of the Heart of Gold from the Hitchiker's Guide series.

Well, where do I start?  First, your Photoshop skills are absolutely fantastic!  The lighting and atmosphere in your pics is just amazing.  Really gives depth to the whole thing.  I may have to try some of that out with some final photos of some of my work to really make it shine. You certainly have an eye for lighting.

That Imperial Landing Pad is one of my favorites.
