I like the variation in this new group of 3.  The red one looks pretty cool; like the plastic soft goods to sell the 'nomad' look.  I also just caught the use of one of the Naboo guard helmets on the back of the Mando bucket; adds a nice touch to that fig.  Slight differences that make them Mandos, but not the same ol', same ol'.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Ori'vor'e verd..........oya manda!

Awesome!  Never enough Mandos!
Can't beat adding a few rugged mando's to any collection.

Glad ya like em,enjoyed mixing these up a bit. The Naboo helmet worked a dream.......I liked the vented sections and the leather flap at the back,it's like added neck protection.
I got enough standard mando's........like spry I'm on a bit of a run with plenty of combo's and variations from standard armour. They could be seen as trophies, incorporated into standard armour or as reminders of their origins and roots.
I gave the copper one his red Kamino under suit, clone helmet armour.......Pauldron,all pieces of GAR roots.

Look forward to seeing more Spry Mandalorians.........I'm gonna post a pic of my recent variants in a group pic,I might have done something you may find useful in tweaking your variants.

All comments and feedback highly appreciated, may the force be with you all and have a merry Xmas and an awesome new year.

Thanks, getting some more variations in my mando's........got some more in progress but while the kids are at mine over Xmas, can't really do much.

But here's a quick little project I've just started.
Wulff Yularen holo table with functioning lighting.

I spotted the holo table is held together with 2 screws, out they came and the table pedestal is hollow so the ol' grey matter clicked into gear.
3 x 6mm dia 1.5v button cell batteries in a custom made holder slots inside the pillar nicely. All I'm hunting for is a tiny switch.........so before the kids throw any old toys out I'm gonna be robbing them of any electrical for this project and jabbas palace.

Check the switches in LED booklights and in "flameless tealights" - both are quite small.  An idea I was looking at involved a submersible "wedding light" (sold for use in champaigne, helium party balloons, floral arrangements, and the like) tucked inside the pedestal leg.

Doc yer a genius........led tea light, got a spare..........those led balloons I've got a few spares from the Halloween leftovers.......using them for a tie fighter I'm planning.

Thanks for jogging the grey matter, indeed they are tiny switches.

This really looks great, especially how well the 'holograms' look on top of the LEDs.  They really do have a nice glow to them.

Nice work!

Cheers guys, I had to use a layer of compact foam as a diffuser to get it like that.........without it there was just a blue dot, holograms would need to be sat right on it to glow. With the light spreading through the opaque foam anything sat on the table glows anywhere its put.

Tempted to do the same to a BD34 Ben Kenobi table.........looks easy. 5 mm hole drilled from below under the fixed Leia hologram........then secure a balloon light fitting beneath.

Watch this space, likely take me half an hour to do later seeing as this conversion only took an hour.

Awesome holo table. I would love to see something like this mass produced. My comments are on the front page.

I'll have to have a look through my fodder bins for all the bits I need...........once I've made the wiring loom i'll get you to send it over. Looks cool innit niner ;D

Thanks for putting the holotable on the fp tamer........it's a tricky mod but it would be a winner for hasbro to do.
