"Thanks everyone!

This is a project we finished earlier in the year but just got around to posting up on the blog. The "Nima Outpost Model Kit for Bobbajo" produced by Asis Film Models is a 3.75" scale figurine and is a great addition to any Star Wars action figure collection. It is an ultra-detailed resin cast that we purchased online. Once we received it in the mail, I then assembled and painted it by hand." - Elias

Bobbajo was a male Nu-Cosian[2] with a white beard who lived on Jakku approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor.[6] He carried a group of animals around in cages, including frog-like gwerps, chicken-like pishnes, a lonlan, two zhhee and an ill-tempered worrt named J'Rrosch.[2][4] His calm demeanor helped settle down the animals while he transported them.[5] He roamed between the settlements of the planet telling stories to local villagers and entertaining children with the talents of his menagerie. He claimed his creatures were responsible for the destruction of the first Death Star, but few believe him. This earned him the names of the "Storyteller" and the "Crittermonger".[2] Bobbajo was the only other vendor known to be allowed to sell food in Niima Outpost by Unkar Plutt. His customers however, were restricted solely to spacers.[7]

Bobbajo was first shown in "Star Wars: Force for Change - A Message from J.J. Abrams", a video released on YouTube in 2014 in which J.J. Abrams introduced the charity campaign Star Wars: A Force for Change. The video was filmed on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and showed the creature walking behind Abrams while he talked, at one stage drawing the director's attention. He was one of the first new characters from Episode VII to have been shown. He was portrayed by Aidan Cook in the film.

Brilliant paint job! I've looked at those pieces, they're not inexpensive and you certainly did it justice.

Wow! Thanks so much everyone! The real credit goes to Asis Film Models for the phenomenal sculpt! We apologize for not posting in a while. We haven't been up to a whole lot as of late. I recently painted up a cast of "The Child" that we bought form Watto's Scrapyard, but other than that I have been hard at work on a commission since the summer. Dad hasn't been working on much lately either.

He also just finished his latest custom last night of the HVAC droid "JV-P12" from "Solo:A Star Wars Story". He printed up a 3D print file from Isotelus, made some modifications to the design and painted it up. We are really looking forward to bringing some really cool things to life with our new Christmas gift!

So cool.  And Chuckles is right, gotta find out about a 3D printer.  Even so, I think I'd be hard pressed to match y'alls work.  Always such beautiful stuff.

Man, they are all great.  That sifter droid in particular is just awesome.  I feel like you can almost feel the dirt and rust.  Beautiful work as always.
