Wow...that looks spot on. your paint jobs are always so amazing. What a great addition to the Rebels line-up. Thanks for the heads up on the vendor as well. That's always super helpful.

Two new customs this week.

First is a 3D print of AP-5 from Angry Raccoon Miniatures. The second is a 3.75" animated version of Ahsoka Tano that was 100% sculpted by me.

This was almost a 100% sculpted action figure build that used the body of a Vintage Collection Aayla Secura that was sanded down to produce framing to be sculpted onto and the head of the 3.75" Black Series Ahsoka Tano that was also sanded away to make room for the new sculpt. Most of the head of the Ahsoka was removed completely before being sculpted onto. In the end both figures became skeletons used only for their joints. By the time she was completed, only the boots of the original figure were visible. Even the legs had to be sanded and resculpted to remove the fabric texture that was sculpted into the original figure.

Sinta Nutuna was a female Twi'lek smuggler known for many crimes as part of the Nutuna Gang. She was wanted by the Inquisitorius and pursued by one of its vengeful agents. Born in 30 BBY and hailing from the sandstorms of Ryloth, Sinta Nutuna gravitated towards the galaxy's lawless sectors and led the Nutuna Gang. She operated on the fringe as a criminal, gangster, and smuggler during the age of the Galactic Empire. She became known for her deadly and illegal activities, conducting crimes including larceny, distributing holopornography, and multiple instances of soliciting on street corners in the Outer Rim Territories. Many Outer Rim hookers and gigolos considered her a prize client for her full bust and shapely figure. Her ribald rap sheet also included murder and the smuggling of illicit contraband. A bounty was placed on her head, and Nutuna was wanted by the Inquisitorius, which dispatched one of its deadly agents to track down Sinta and her gang. The Inquisitor pursued her with a vengeance in an effort to bring her in for her depraved crimes.

Sinta Nutuna was created by erotica artist Miravi in his Twi Wanted artworks. Miravi later revealed that he created the name "Sinta" for the character, though sculptor Dayton Allen (alias Sith_fire30) used the name "Nutuna" in reference to the character while creating a custom action figure sculpt based on Miravi's design. Both names were later used for the character in the 2012 Legends erotic fiction "Twist of Fate: The Quest for Camie" by Shabby Blue and Das Flute. Sinta Nutuna was introduced into erotica canon with an inclusion in Kooriv's 2019 reference work Star Wars Erotica: The Visual Guide, appearing on its cover and an inside page.

Now, that was one interesting background story to read. And this character is the hottest criminal character that I've ever seen so far - even Harley Quinn doesn't look as good in my eyes, but I'm a Star Wars head anyway.
Looking at the pictures I was especially stunned by her face and I've got to admit you did an outstanding and literally distracting job on her breasts. You might want to become a surgeon. I'm honestly surprised how I can find an action figure so attractive. I think that speaks more than a thousand words of how remarkable your sculpting skills are. And I was relieved when I read the third paragraph above. So this character is supposed to look sexy - I wasn't even aware that there was such things as erotic fiction in Star Wars. Well, I think that Reylo thing doesn't count, right?

So back to her face painting: Did I read it correctly that the headsculpt is taken from an Ahsoka figure? Because I was sure this was Aayla Secura's face with sculpted extremeties.
She looks absolutely stunning, love the texture you sculpted to her right arm and left leg, her headdress and the combination of colors! But man her face looks amazing!
Brings back these annoying bells of one of Bruno Mars' songs...anyhew your painting skills show how good Hasbro's work on the headsculpt really is - unless you sculpted her face as well.
The combination of yellow and blue/turquoise looks excellent! She reminds me of some Twi'lek dancers in Knights of the Old Republic. They had yellow skin as well if I remember correctly.
The soft goods look great as far as I can tell. Would be interesting to see a picture from the back.

I'm quite speechless to be honest with you guys and that doesn't happen often.

Add: I'd also love to see some work-in-progress pictures if you took any. That must've been a LOT of sanding...

This figure turned out fantastically. I'm not an erotica person and steer clear of that subject matter, but your sculpting (especially the material on the one arm and leg) and your painting continue to blow me away. You are so very skilled.

"STAR WARS REBELS" URSA WREN created by @AngryRaccoonMiniatures & painted by Elias

This is another cool 3D print created by Angry Racoon Miniatures that we found in his Etsy store, purchased and painted after it arrived. We bought several of his resin printed figure kits and have been thrilled with the quality of his offerings. The sculpts are phenomenal and they really help to fill out the holes on our Star Wars Rebels action figure collection shelf. We have several more of his resin kits in the pipeline. Between school and experimenting with some potential business models, it is nice to have a project that just needed some minor sanding and a paintjob to add a much desired character to our Rebels display.

Ursa Wren is articulated at the head, the hips, biceps and shoulders. The head and helmet are swappable. We used a small dab from the glue gun in the neck hole to create a tight seal for the head in its socket. We gave a tiny squirt and quickly placed one of the heads in the hole before the glue cooled. We turned the heads from left to right as it dried. After, we cut away any excess glue that squeezed above the opening and she was good to go. Her front kama did crack off as we detached her from the print scaffolding, but we just replaced the broken area with some ProCreate and it was like nothing ever happened. Also with the strength of ProCreate, the kama is unlikely to ever break again.

We applied a clean paintjob and avoided dry brushing and washes that way she matched the appearance of Hasbro's Star Wars Rebels action figure releases. Overall, we really loved the way she turned out.

Definitely check out Angry Racoon Miniatures Etsy store for a lot more exciting figures that he is selling kits for.

"STAR WARS REBELS" SEASON 3 - EZRA BRIDGER created by Elias

This action figure was a recent commission that I just completed. Yes, we officially take commission requests here at Customs for the Kid. Just send us an email over at customsforthekid@gmail.com and we can see about bringing the action figure of your choice to life. We don't scare easy so don't worry about strange requests.

To make this figure we took a massive shortcut by utilizing an already made 3-D printed resin cast of Ezra's head that was created by Watto's Scrapyard. We're big fans of Watto's custom heads and just placed another order with him yesterday for some more heads that he designed.

The rest of the figure was sculpted by hand with ProCreate onto the body of TVC Endor Luke Skywalker. The holster and gun were from the TVC Han Solo action figure.

We did a video tutorial for the making of this action figure so if you are interested in creating one yourself, then check out the YouTube video below and see how we did ours.

"OBI-WAN KENOBI in MAUL MANDO ARMOR" created by Elias

This is a 3.75” rendition of Obi-Wan in his Death Watch Disguise he stole from a Maul loyalist to rescue Duchess Satine Kryze from the custody of Darth Maul in The Lawless. This Obi-Wan was a commissioned piece I made for a client, so he unfortunately won’t be staying on our shelves, but making him was a pleasure nonetheless.

The majority of the figure was made with a Clone Wars Pre Vizsla action figure which I repainted to match the armor of the Maul Mandos. I was careful to replicate every detail as seen on screen, even down to the the silver chips in the armor and the maul markings on the helmet. I converted the Pre Vizsla helmet into an alternate head by filling it with hot glue and sticking it to the neck ball joint. I then waited for the glue to dry and gave the head a gentle twist which freed it, allowing for full range of movement. The lightsaber was simply an Obi-Wan lightsaber, and the jetpack was a repainted cast of the Clone Wars Aayla Secura action figure jetpack we got from Rebel Kid Creations. The peg on the jet pack surprisingly fit into the Pre Vizsla jet pack hole perfectly, so I didn’t have to modify the sculpt of the jet pack at all. The head is from a Clone Wars Season 4 Obi-Wan, and remained completely unmodified throughout the course of the project.

"ENFYS NEST - UNMASKED" created by Elias

To produce this particular custom it only took a headcast we painted from Watto's Scrapyard to add to an already existing custom that we made. The first version of the character that we made, just swapped the Vintage Collection Enfys Nest action figure helmet for the more detailed 5 poa head of Enfys Nest. For the swap we made a quick YouTube tutorial that outlined how even a beginner can accomplish the switch with little effort. The nice part about the Watto's Scrapyard head was that it required no modifications other than a well executed paint job to make our figure more complete than ever.

Because Hasbro never gave us a version of the figure that was unmasked, the Watto's Scrapyard offering gives us the ability to recreate one of the biggest surprise reveals related to Enfys Nest from the Solo film, her young face when she takes her helmet off. We highly recommend purchasing this head so you can upgrade your existing action figure to improve your collection at home.

TCW "DEATH WATCH LIEUTENANT" created by Customs for the Kid

This was a custom that Darth Daddy started and I finished.  Dad began by sculpting a screen accurate gauntlet onto a Clone Wars Death Watch Mandalorian with some ProCreate and added the pointed ends of wooden toothpicks to make the tips of the missiles. The head we purchased from Watto's Scrapyard and we have nothing but complimentary things to say about the sculpt of the head. Once Dad finished the figure's sculpt, he painted the base coats onto the figure and got the figure primed for additional paint applications.

Then I came in and added the wires of the gauntlet to the figure with cuttings from the datapad of Admiral Ackbar that I drilled and glued into place, drilled the helmet of the Death Watch figure and added a spare rangefinder that was part of an ARC Trooper casted kit that we used to finish the last detail before I completed Dad's paint job by adding in all the fine details to finish this collaboration.

Haven't watched REBELS, yet, but Ursa Wren is a really nice design. I like the kit for her and Elias proved his incredible painting skills once again here. Gentlemen, one custom is even more amazing than the other. Every figure you make has some details to it that absolutely impress me and fill me up with pure joy for the hobby. One can tell how much you love making stuff and love STAR WARS.

I could look at Obi-Wan in Maul armor alone for hours. The chest armor is just so well painted...you guys are in God-mode. Thanks for sharing this and making this Sunday so epic!

Brilliant update! I've been checking out Watto's Scrapyard for a while, but have yet to purchase. There is so much good to see here. I must say I am particularly impressed with Enfys Nest - you did a spectacular paint job! Thanks for sharing the head sculpts, too, that's very gracious of you.
