Here at home we are hoping to work some more on filling out Jabba's Palace with some of the unproduced characters from the action figure line. Our latest addition is Jess.

In 4 ABY, Jess was a Human female musician present in Jabba's Palace, hoping to eventually leave the establishment by joining a band. Jess was often seen in the company of Bib Fortuna stroking his lekku. He reciprocated the gesture, often leading her around the throne room by hand. She was in Bib's company when the dancing girl Oola was fed to the rancor. Later, she was left to slumber alone on Jabba's dais, as Bib Fortuna lay in wait with his master, ready to spring the trap as Leia Organa, disguised as Boushh, released Han Solo from carbonite.

To create the action figure, I used the lower legs of an Indiana Jones Marion Ravenwood action figure, the upper torso and arms of a Vintage Slave Leia, and an original headsculpt that I created.

Excellent sculpt and paint work, as always.  You're an inspiration!
I am altering the action figure. Pray I do not alter it further.

Thanks for teaching me how to dry brush!  I never would have started or learned how if you didn't explain it to me over the phone.

THE CLONE WARS "R5-S9" created by Elias

R5-S9 was an R5-series astromech droid that worked for the Galactic Senate during the Clone Wars. During the Senate hostage crisis in 22 BBY, R5-S9 was working at the Republic Executive Building in the power control room when Cad Bane's posse entered the room. It was destroyed by one of Bane's IG-86 sentinel droids.

To create the figure, I used the lower half of the The Clone Wars R7-D4 and the head of a Build A Droid R5-D4.

STAR WARS REBELS "CAPTAIN REX - STORMTROOPER DISGUISE" created by DARTH DADDY

After observing Captain Rex dressed in Stormtrooper disguise in the episode "Stealth Strike" in Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels, we knew we wanted to make the Stromtrooper version of Rex in action figure form. To accommodate Rex's bulky frame we used the body of the old POTF Stormtrooper with the head of the Star Wars Rebels Captain Rex action figure to create the silhouette we desired. To finish the figure off, we just hollowed out the head of a Star Wars Rebels Stormtrooper with a Dremel to make a removable helmet and placed the same figure's blaster into Rex's hand.  The figure only has 5 points of articulation at the time of this post, but if we later come across an abundance of double-sided ball joints down the road, we may decide to articulate him some more.

Thanks.  Just started updating the blog to include skill level required for each figure made.  Just type beginner, intermediate or advanced into the blogs search field for project options.
