Thanks guys :). I'm really proud of this one, because I sculpted the entire figure except for the face.  She was made entirely from a Bastilla Shan that I sanded down and used Apoxie Sculpt to make.  I stole a play from Dayton with creating a skeleton first to sculpt on.  I just wish I used soft goods and hip articulation.

WOW! This is a great one Brian! I see you have completed a total sculpt on this one. The clothing and hair look perfect! I too want to try doing more things like this. No one can recognize these parts!

Bastilla Shan is the only figure I used.  The front and back robes were from the cape from a heavily modified POTF General Lando Calrissian.

She was my first experiment with green stuff. I wanted the lower robes to remain flexible and Apoxie Sculpt would crack.  Green stuff may be somewhat flexible, but it was soooo hard to work with.  I had to rely on my sander and some heavy Dremel work to salvage her robes.  I couldn't get it to do anything I wanted.  I also used liquid green stuff to seal over two pieces of plastic to make it appear as one.

Slave Leia' robes would have been way better and still may soon replace the ones that are there now.

I wish I had the soft goods from the new Vintage Senate Guard that way I could give her cloth robes.  I'm not liking the plastic, but I can't seperate her again or I'll crack my sculpted torso.  Unless I can figure out a way to add them without popping her at the waist.
Any advice or Senate Robes (light blue) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks L.E.  I wish I had the time to do figures like this all the time.  The weekly deadline from Elias' blog is always pokin' me in my ribs and keeps me busy just trying to get anything I can out.  I enjoy these more involved projects.  They're the most rewarding, so expect to see more of them sometime in the future.  Just don't hold your breath.  I have a few Clone Wars projects I want to get to next that may end up going this route.  Hopefully I'll have something cool for you all soon.

We just wanted to show everybody what a big difference a few sprays of Dullcote can make to a figure if it looks very glossy.  The before shots are in the post.

I created these two action figures after I saw Peakob1 post his version in the forums.  It was fairly easy.  Especially because I already had all the parts I would need.  All it took was some black paint, a sharp razor blade, and a Dremel.  I cut the heads on all four figures at the appropriate points.  Used the Dremel on what was left off the Clone Trooper's necks to create a smooth sunken hole at the top.  Painted the newly created recess black, and glued the bottom of the Commando Droid's neck post to the freshly painted surface once it was dry.  These two figures were a really fun addition to Elias' Droid Army collection.
