"ROGUE ONE" REBEL FLEET TROOPER ARMY BUILD

Sometime last year, eBay seller Tunghori was selling the Vintage Collection's Rebel Fleet Trooper in bulk and we jumped at the chance to diversify our Rebel brigade by doing some head swaps to swell our ranks.  Most of the heads were just spares we had floating around in a container we had full of random heads from G.I. Joe, Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean action figures.  It was a quick and easy project that had a huge payoff.  Since these troopers feature so heavily in the film Rogue One, we figured that this would be a great time to show you all the possibilities for enhancing your home displays.  It was also a cool opportunity to show off our "Tantive IV Passageway" diorama made by Star Wars customizer, Boutros77

Wouldn't it be lovely if Hasbro brought back the army building packs and issued us one of these sets to celebrate both Rogue One and the 40th anniversary of A New Hope?  We think army building sets of Rebel Fleet Troopers would fly off the shelves.

Cool idea. And yes I so wish they would bring back some army builder packs. That might be a good question to ask Hasbro. Off to share the latest. These look great.

Yarders, I will also put a Tunghori link on the front page post if you want to take a look at his latest too.

This figure I cannot take credit for.  It was made by my 13 year old son Elias who decided to attempt his first 100% sculpted action figure.  He's been working on the figure since the summer and he finally just got it finished.

Nice job, Elias!

Hopefully the rumors of a Rebel Fleet Trooper rerelease are true, and we can all build an army of these guys to fall beneath Vader's blade.  Your background looks great with the Troopers.  Hole in the Ground Productions?

Darth Daddy - great job on the rebel trooper head swaps. We definitely needed a Corporal Gibbs in the Alliance.

Elias - fantastic work on Chuchi. She's a figure that Hasbro should have made, but since they didn't you realy stepped up. The scuplting and painting are both outstanding.

It has been way too long since we did a post.  To make up for lost time, we have two new figures to share,  The first figure is one from Eias that we got from Hole In The Ground Productions,  The second was a team build from both me and Elias.  A true Customs for the Kid build we wanted to have ready in time for Saturday's Rebels episode "Twin Suns". Hope you all enjoy!

With so little articulation, Maul doesn't stand a chance! Those Jawas and droid need to be a 3 pack and on shelves so we can start building Jawa bazaars.
