"STAR WARS REBELS" URSA WREN created by @AngryRaccoonMiniatures & painted by EliasThis is another cool 3D print created by Angry Racoon Miniatures that we found in his Etsy store, purchased and painted after it arrived. We bought several of his resin printed figure kits and have been thrilled with the quality of his offerings. The sculpts are phenomenal and they really help to fill out the holes on our Star Wars Rebels action figure collection shelf. We have several more of his resin kits in the pipeline. Between school and experimenting with some potential business models, it is nice to have a project that just needed some minor sanding and a paintjob to add a much desired character to our Rebels display.
Ursa Wren is articulated at the head, the hips, biceps and shoulders. The head and helmet are swappable. We used a small dab from the glue gun in the neck hole to create a tight seal for the head in its socket. We gave a tiny squirt and quickly placed one of the heads in the hole before the glue cooled. We turned the heads from left to right as it dried. After, we cut away any excess glue that squeezed above the opening and she was good to go. Her front kama did crack off as we detached her from the print scaffolding, but we just replaced the broken area with some ProCreate and it was like nothing ever happened. Also with the strength of ProCreate, the kama is unlikely to ever break again.
We applied a clean paintjob and avoided dry brushing and washes that way she matched the appearance of Hasbro's Star Wars Rebels action figure releases. Overall, we really loved the way she turned out.
Definitely check out Angry Racoon Miniatures Etsy store for a lot more exciting figures that he is selling kits for.

Yes, we officially take commission requests here at Customs for the Kid. Just send us an email over at customsforthekid@gmail.com and we can see about bringing the action figure of your choice to life. We don't scare easy so don't worry about strange requests.
To make this figure we took a massive shortcut by utilizing an already made 3-D printed resin cast of Ezra's head that was created by Watto's Scrapyard. We're big fans of Watto's custom heads and just placed another order with him yesterday for some more heads that he designed.
The rest of the figure was sculpted by hand with ProCreate onto the body of TVC Endor Luke Skywalker. The holster and gun were from the TVC Han Solo action figure.
We did a video tutorial for the making of this action figure so if you are interested in creating one yourself, then check out the YouTube video below and see how we did ours.

This Obi-Wan was a commissioned piece I made for a client, so he unfortunately won’t be staying on our shelves, but making him was a pleasure nonetheless.
The majority of the figure was made with a Clone Wars Pre Vizsla action figure which I repainted to match the armor of the Maul Mandos. I was careful to replicate every detail as seen on screen, even down to the the silver chips in the armor and the maul markings on the helmet. I converted the Pre Vizsla helmet into an alternate head by filling it with hot glue and sticking it to the neck ball joint. I then waited for the glue to dry and gave the head a gentle twist which freed it, allowing for full range of movement. The lightsaber was simply an Obi-Wan lightsaber, and the jetpack was a repainted cast of the Clone Wars Aayla Secura action figure jetpack we got from Rebel Kid Creations. The peg on the jet pack surprisingly fit into the Pre Vizsla jet pack hole perfectly, so I didn’t have to modify the sculpt of the jet pack at all. The head is from a Clone Wars Season 4 Obi-Wan, and remained completely unmodified throughout the course of the project.

created by Elias"ENFYS NEST - UNMASKED" created by EliasTo produce this particular custom it only took a headcast we painted from Watto's Scrapyard to add to an already existing custom that we made. The first version of the character that we made, just swapped the Vintage Collection Enfys Nest action figure helmet for the more detailed 5 poa head of Enfys Nest. For the swap we made a quick YouTube tutorial that outlined how even a beginner can accomplish the switch with little effort. The nice part about the Watto's Scrapyard head was that it required no modifications other than a well executed paint job to make our figure more complete than ever.
Because Hasbro never gave us a version of the figure that was unmasked, the Watto's Scrapyard offering gives us the ability to recreate one of the biggest surprise reveals related to Enfys Nest from the Solo film, her young face when she takes her helmet off. We highly recommend purchasing this head so you can upgrade your existing action figure to improve your collection at home.

created by EliasTCW "DEATH WATCH LIEUTENANT" created by Customs for the KidThis was a custom that Darth Daddy started and I finished. Dad began by sculpting a screen accurate gauntlet onto a Clone Wars Death Watch Mandalorian with some ProCreate and added the pointed ends of wooden toothpicks to make the tips of the missiles. The head we purchased from Watto's Scrapyard and we have nothing but complimentary things to say about the sculpt of the head. Once Dad finished the figure's sculpt, he painted the base coats onto the figure and got the figure primed for additional paint applications.
Then I came in and added the wires of the gauntlet to the figure with cuttings from the datapad of Admiral Ackbar that I drilled and glued into place, drilled the helmet of the Death Watch figure and added a spare rangefinder that was part of an ARC Trooper casted kit that we used to finish the last detail before I completed Dad's paint job by adding in all the fine details to finish this collaboration.
