Wow, those look really great. What figures did you use for the base?

They look like really good bases for some Mandos.

Man those are just awesome! I love how you have a uniformity to well their uniforms. I also love how you toned down the "ninja" aspect of Snake Eyes. It's a perfect blend of Commando and Ninja i.e. Comminja!! Scarlett looks great. Would like to see a pic of the back of Scarlett to see how her hair is done. I'm not particularly a fan of the modern Stalker headsculpt - too Ice T, gangsta for me - but again the figure looks great (and figure is  pronounce fig-ger according to Tamer!! LOL! everytime I hear him say "fig-ger" it reminds of a guy I knew from Florida who would say, "Fig-gers never lie, but liars always fig-ger!" In case Tamer's wondering I pronounce it "fig-your" probably a Southern thang! LOL!)

Any special techniques to painting the camo on the pants? Do you finish the figures off with any sealant like Dull Coat?

Those are great!  I agree with the uniformity comment.  I know back in the day they designed some of the Joes' crazy outfits to market to kids, but I always felt a military unit should look more military.

Thanks man, I'm glad you like them! Yes, I did intentionally tone down the ninja aspect with Snake Eyes, I was going for a commando version but there is no hiding the fact that the character is a ninja. Scarlett's hair is just a short 'do, no pony tail in the back. As far as camo, I just randomly splotch patterns starting with a light grey, then a darker gunship grey, then finally a dark engine grey. I usually put a very thin wash of flat black over it after it's all dry to down tone down colors and make it look a bit more "worn in". I don't use any sealers; I used dull coat once but it left my figure feeling tacky for days and I ended up repainting it. It may have dried eventually, but I didn't want to chance it.
