So for my Bday last week I got some figures to use as customs and then I also got some Gundam paint pens. I heard about them from the owner of a toy shop in chicago when I was there a few months back. Theyre made for Gundam models (they look sorta like transformers) but they are the same kind of plastic that figures are made of. So I tried them out on a Gregor I was working on and they are awesome! They cover any color (even neon Boss orange) with usually 1 coat. The white covers up any unwanted stripes or details on clones perfectly and then the fine tipped pens are stupendous. I used them for the hash marks and they look amazing. If you guys haven't tried these I highly recommend them. At least give the fine tip and white pens a try. I know there on amazon so go check them out.

Thanks for the info about the pen/markers. Sounds like painting just got a little easier for some figures.

I too really enjoy seeing TCW Clones done up in a realistic style. Wow, how bout those Paint Pens. I just had to search these out on ebay:

Ebay Link for Gundam Paint Pens

RS, let me know if these are not what you are talking about, but I think I found em. Off to share the news about these customs and paint pens.

Ya these are the ones. Be sure to look around a bit and find the right seller because they often come from over seas and that can be expensive

Great stuff! I knew about these pens for years now, but I didn't now they worked on figures! You can find them by the dozens in model/hobby stores.

I have no idea. :\  They're pretty common in Japanese/Chinese model and hobby stores. But I'd definitely take a look at your local store; from my experience, they're usually displayed in a rack at the cashier counter, but you can always ask them! :D
