Wraithnine here with another review ,today i am reviewing the 1 of the new 2 figure and vehicle packs
First thing the Diorama is still there but the stand dice and game card have gone ,but overall i like the new packaging,
first up the vehicle ,now this is an excellent little fighter
nice paint apps nice moldings ,more than a little underscaled
it has an opening cockpit to place figures in,you also get a little removable bucket seat that can be removed so that normal sized figures can fit (a nice touch)
the droid head can be removed and replaced with any BAD droid head so there is lots of scope for customisation
the missile pods are manual affair that just pull out and they fire push button spring loaded missiles
The Figures:
well this is where it all goes downhill
the Yoda comes with 2 accessories a cane and a lit lightsaber
the figure itself comes with a soft goods jedi robe ,the head has a head set molded on and it might be just me but he looks as miserable as hell.
the figure has below average articulation he has:
ball jointed head and shoulders swivel wrist and hips and thats it..
now the Super Battle Droid
hold onto your hats :
this figure is truly ....dreadful
it feels very cheap and the plastic on the lower legs is very soft it has preposed legs so it doesnt like to stand .
as for articulation Hasbro has spoilt us with 4 (yes you heard right 4) points of artie swivel shoulders and hips and thats it.
so in summary you have a great little ship with a crap figure and a shite figure..
i think you can see where all the money went in this pack
