Either way, the figure has turned magnificently!

I agree. I can't wait to see more of him.

Been working on a 10 inch The Maxx custom as a commission. He's almost done. Decided he looked a little lonely and needed an accessory or two so I made a Julie leopard/jungle queen to go with it for no added charge. Then decided that wasn't enough. Felt for it to really feel like The Maxx he would need an Isz, so I made one. But what's an Isz without it master...no, I didn't decide to also throw in a full scale Mr.Gone to the commission as well. I'm not crazy. Just his decaptiated head. Here's  WIP of the Isz and Gone. I'll post Maxx when I can shoot him with something other than my iPhone.

Actually I just remembered who I was and how infrequently I update customs lately, so I decided to snap a quick group shot of my Maxx set. Basically the comission I took and was paid for was only for the Maxx himself. The rest of the group is just freebies. Haha

I have to say as an avid fan of the old MAXX TV show from the 90's and the comics I love the sculpts and look of your work. The Mr. Gone head is top notch   :)

Haven't had much to show in way of customs lately. A bunc of half finished ones but it's just been a hectic few months. I did finish this guy though. Another "Galactic Marine" (yes, I know what a real Galactic Marine is in the Star Wars universe, but these guys are named that as they are a Colonial Marine mashup).

You can read my comments on the front page. Fantastic work. I was mesmerized as I watched the camo paint work on this. Love the video format. Sharing on the pages with more comments.

So here's a crappy smart phone photo of the completed Galactic Marine built off of a Neca Windrex and a Black Series Cody/Clone Trooper. He still has a sealing layer and I will probably paint his SIG MPX's but for all intents and purposes he is done.

Galactic Marine 2 by Tim

I had used Cody's head but a clone body, simply because I had "ruined" the Clone Trooper head while prepping a different custom. But after I finished this figure I decided I may be able to salvage the clone head. And since I figured this marines squad could use a flame trooper I did a quick slap together of what that figure will essentially be comprised of. I'm not sure though if the squads camo scheme will work on this guy as a flame unit. i guess i will find out. here's the mockup of the GM Flame Trooper

Wow, that Flame Trooper WIP is off the charts tough looking too. I love the way you assemble parts Tim. That one will be on the front page soon too. I hope you do another time lapse on that guy, what a cool way to showcase your work. I would love to load that video up on our ISY Youtube Channel as a great tutorial on painting camo if you would allow it.

Yeah, I didn't think to film this guys build. He was sort of an out of nowhere build. As for loading the video to your YouTube channel, I don't have an issue with it, but it does use existing music. If it doesn't load let me know and I'll load up a music free version. Ha
