Wow, I like the Gran Jedi. Really glad to see such a strong SW Alien showing for the entries.

I was hoping someone would do a Jaina in pilot flight suit, but that combat suit is ftw too.

And man what a great villain for the new movie. Mother Talzin would fit that bill nicely.

What awesome new entries. Time to go add them to the Facebook Gallery.

Here's the link to my custom, Anakin Solo. It uses Indy 4's Mutt Williams, with an Obi-Wan lightsaber, and a Zam Wessel blaster.

Revanfan1 we need to have at least one picture, not link, posted for it to count as an entry. Let me go see if I can find one and post for you. We just use standard bbc image code [img] tags for the messages here in the forums.

Update: Got it loaded. Now you have an entry.

Sneaking in at the last minute, heres my entry to the EPVII contest!  I'm realitively new to customizing, but I was so excited with the theme this time around that I just had to dive in and create the whole cast!

From left to right, Jaina Solo, Gai Akbar, Convoy Escort Stormtrooper, Jedi Master Luke, Darth Mon'Doom, R2-D2, C-3p0, Imperial Tracker, and Brax Skywalker.  I didn't wanna take up too much room with individual photos of every figure, so I just picked a few of my favorites for close ups here.  I'll probably start a custom thread soon and post more there, along with my other customs.  Anyways, starting off with my personal favorite of the group, Gai Akbar!

The son of Admiral Akbar, Gai chose not to follow in his fathers legendary footsteps, instead becoming a mercenary and bounty hunter.  Rather then go the typical route of trying to blend in, Gai dresses as flamboyantly and stylishly as possible, doing everything he can to get noticed in pursuit of his dream of becoming the most famous bounty hunter in the galaxy.  The question is, will his talents be put to use in service of the Alliance, or the Imperial Remnant?

Darth Mon'Doom, Sith Master, former apprentice of Asaj Venteress, and leader of the Imperial Remnant.  I wanted a masochistic, Hellraiser meets Star Wars look for this guy, and I'm pretty happy with how he turned out.  My original plan was to sculpt Darth Maul horns onto him but, alas, I ran out of time :(

The Imperial Tracker is a special, highly trained class of Stormtrooper in service to the Empire.  Sent to far off worlds and space stations, the Tracker is willing to go to the ends of the galaxy in pursuit of his target.  As the Empires strength and numbers continue to dwindle, the role of the Tracker becomes more and more important, his guerilla fighting tactics resembling the Rebellion of old.

The Imperial Convoy Escort Trooper serves as the first line of defense aboard shipping and medical convoys, in addition to serving aboard fuel depots and "Imperial Shipyards."  (See what I did there?)  More than anything else, this one was about creating a cool trooper, haha.

What a great turnout for this contest! I ran out of time to get my project done but seen a great rendition of the same idea. Dont think that this will be an easy choice but one thing is for sure. All these great entries were sure easy on the eyes.

Sidious that's a great realistic rendition of the Mother!

Thanks, you made an equally awesome Hutt - I saw the horned toad / lizard resemblance instantly.

I think so as well - even a stand alone movie with her, Maul, etc (post-ROTS but pre-ANH) - from your lips to Disney's huge ears!

Grand Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.

I was in such a rush to meet Saturday night's deadline (had to re-size photos) that I didn't post any information on the figure.

I used a vintage AOTC Obi-Wan body and a Luke head from one of the comic two-packs. I dry-brushed gray into Luke's hair, to give him a more mature, regal look. Also painted the body to have a more elevated Jedi position look.

I've been customizing for at least 6 years (probably longer), but haven't really posted much on the web. That may change.

Thank you everyone who took part in the second joint contest between Imperialshipyards and Yakface!  We had nearly 50 customs made for this, which is amazing - especially considering the short timeframe for this contest.

Alright, what we've all been waiting for... Roundup Report Time!!!

In no particular order, here's a roundup of all the amazing entries that were posted between the two sites...

Once the deadline for the contest had passed, we had a very difficult time choosing a grand prize winner, but our consensus was that the first place winner should be forum member Bubba Fett - congratulations to him for his amazing custom entries... and with that, he gets to choose from the following prizes:

- Sideshow Boba Fett

- Sideshow Airborne Trooper

- Gentle Giant General Veers

Bubba Fett, please reply to this thread and let us know which prize you will be taking.  We will then get in touch with you regarding shipping details.

Everyone else - STAY TUNED!  We'll be announcing the TWO RANDOM WINNERS in the coming days!

Wow, I can't believe it! There were so many amazing custom figures in this! I would like to thank all of the little people...Jawas, Ewoks, Salacious Crumb, Yoda...
Seriously though, thank you all so much.

With a name like Bubba Fett, it only makes sense that I would choose the Sideshow Boba Fett as my prize!

I applied many techniques that have been shared by the ISY and Yakface members, so in a way, this is proof of how these forums are helping to improve us all!

0/ I am so excited...totally dancing like this chewie right now! Thanks, Jessica   :)
