Invasion Colchester,UK 2013

Hi
on Saturday the 7th September i had the pleasure of attending this charity event ,its mainly an open air event encompassing Signers,Costumers,Live Music and allsorts of Sci-Fi related tomfoolery .
It takes place in the Large shopping area known as Lions Walk and was totally packed there were some fantastic costumes on show i got to meet Alan Flyng:Stormie in ESB and the infamous deck officer in ROTJ who informed Admiral Piett that they had lost their bridge deflector shields!,Pam Rose who played Leesub Sirlnand and Nick Joseph who was one of the 2 Rebel Medal Bearers in ANH these people are exceptionally kind and a pleasure to talk to ,oh and Vader stood on me (see pics)

Ghostbusters


a variety of Star Wars costumers












the Awesome Darth Vader (before i made the mistake of trying to give him an order...




my bloody back still hurts...

this young lady seemed rather eager to be ...punished...












hmmm...so much for orrder 66...


and there were a variety of other costumers from other franchises








Live Music:


and some cool cars..












and the highlight for me was getting to chat with these guys..

Wow, this is so cool. Thanks for sharing it with us Jay. Look for it to show up on the front page soon. I love seeing all the costumes.

Alan,Pam and Nick were very kind enough to sign some pieces for me ,
Nick Joseph:Medal Bearer from ANH(i have signed pieces from both the medal bearers)


Alan Flyng: Stormtrooper ESB (carbon freeze chamber),Imperial Deck officer ROTJ (with the now famous bridge shields line)



and the lovely Pam Rose : Leesub Sirln ANH

(she signed the back for me )
