Kind of an end of the year update here.  Some random figures I've finished and not shown yet...

First up, two easy Imperial officer customs - one simply with Starkiller's head, a no paint custom.  One using the head and hands from the BAD Bespin guard - just a tiny bit of paint on the neck...




Next, another no paint custom backgrounder.  Dagger Marvel body, Starkiller belt, (not sure whose skirt it is).  Head is from an Indy Marion figure, if I remember correctly.



Loje Nella - from a cast made by I Am Boba Fett.  Have had this one for a few months, but finally got him painted up to a finished state...





A repaint of one of the Star Tours droids:


And the Gonk project...  A couple of these have been seen, but this is the full series.  Basically, when I did a couple of Gonk repaints, my daughter decided that she wanted to have a rainbow of droids.  So, she helped me paint some of these up so that we would have a full rainbow of them.  I glued some bits and bobs onto them to differentiate them...

I like the gonk droids. I've repainted a few but never thought about the bright colors before. Might have to try that after the holidays.

The Gonk droid project is delightful. Great mix of parts on the other customs. That Marek Imperial officer could almost pass as a Vulcan;)

Thanks everyone for the kind words!  The gonk project was definitely a fun one!

Another customs update from me for the new year.

First up, some bounty hunters for the current Yakfinities contest.  A Zeltron and a bumbling duo...  More pictures and bios in the Yakfinities thread over on Yakface.com.



Next up, just a quick weathering job on a clone to make him look like he's been through some rough times...


Here's a Coruscant information broker.  After the Empire came to power, he helped smuggle people out of the core, but ended up keeping the information on where they went into hiding so that he could blackmail them.



Lastly, a quick and dirty no-paint custom.  I thought these parts looked good together to make a rough looking individual, someone that you would find in a rough cantina on a backwater world...  (sorry for the bad photo on this one...)

Realized that I haven't updated my thread here for awhile. 

I've been mostly working on painting up the podracer figure models from as is film models (considering Hasbro will never get to them...) but I have a few other updates as well.

First up, my painted podracers:





Next up - a bounty hunter for the current Yakfinities.  I shamelessly stole the recipe from Starchaser here on the yards and tried to add my own take.
