Darth Caedus - at some point I hope to acquire an extra Jacen and use that head.

Darth Maleval's Light-Whip - I didn't care for the whip that came with this figure, so I built this one.  Unfirtunately, it makes for a pretty static display.

Rather than buying another Jacen at $50 - $90, have you though about molding and casting your own?  There are a couple of good tutorials here on ISY about it.  There are also a couple of ISY contributers who sell casted heads on eBay too, but I cant remember ever seeing Jacen.

I have a solution to the static light whip.  It's not hard, but it's a little messy.   I'll try to post it soon.

BTW, love the Ewoks, especially the armored one.  Was that yor sketch?   You've also got a really nice coven of Sith going there.

Thanks for the feedback.  I haven't casted heads, but I have a good local friend who does.  That's a good suggestion.

My hesitation at using casted heads has been painting them, especially the eyes.  However, with some recent upgrades in tools and a couple links to tutorials Sithfire30 sent me, I think I'm ready to dive in.

Yes, that's my ewok sketch. I have doen drawings of may of my original character customs.  Either the drawing inspires the custom or vice-versa.

The fine facial details are a challenge.   Mr. Black does an outstanding job.  Examine his technique with a black molded GI Joe Duke head.

Happy New Year!  Thanks for the comments and the link.  Time for another update of my order stuff.  Today's are mostly head swaps & repaints, but those are usually critical to army building.  Here are my Rebels & Imperials:

From the X-Wing comic series - New republic Commando Kap Dendo

From the X-Wing comic series - Rogue Squadron mechanic Koyi Komad

From the Roque Squadron novels - General Jan Dodonna as a Lusankya prisoner

Some Hoth officers

Some Endor troopers

This next group is my design.  This is the New Republic Commando's Nexu Squad

The first is the Zeltron group leader, Major Ciaria Racksala, Codename: Vertigo

Second in command is the Bothan hand-tohand expert, Lt. Skrit Ney'bsiem, Codename: Jackal

Their sniper is Sgt. Rogan Kher, Codename: Hotshot

Heavy weapons and Computer expert, Sgt. Grimm - is actually a human replica GR1M droid whose outer covering has started dying on the chassis.  Codename: Reaper

Finally, thier Rodian pilot, Lt. Beroodo, Codename: Carrier

Now for the Imperials

Admiral Daala

From the Rogue Squadron novels, Agent Kirtan Loor (always noted in the novels for his resemblance ot Tarkin)

Captain Baros

Captain Bishoffer

Captain Smit

Commander Grossam

General Dalian

Moff Nielsam

Moff Dap

Grand Admiral Syn

Grand Admiral Cardallis

Imperial Knights

Wow, all kinds of good stuff here, I was still digesting the great work you did on those ewoks, and then you dropped this huge load of new ones! Fantastic!

I agree, lots of great custom figures in there. I would enjoy seeing some of the recipes for some of those folks. Off to share yet again.

Great work on these figures!  I especially love the Kap Dendo and Kirtan Loor ones since I am a huge X-Wing Rogue Squadron fan.  I never really imagined Loor in red, but you definitely opened my eyes to it here.

Hi all.  Thanks for the comments!

Are there any recipes in particular you'd like to see?

For today's update, I'll post my Jedi.  I'll start out with the human Jedi

The first three are some older customs I will probably redo in the near future.  They are characters in a fan fic that I hope to someday write.

First is a character I created - an Old Republic Jedi Master named Jordan Farseer

This is Farseer's master, Jacoby Bardonna

This is Farseer's training partner as a Padawan, Elani Wynflaire.  She later becomes Darth Temptuous.

This is Jedi Master Dooku, before he leaves the order.

Mara Jade Skywalker - Stealth X Pilot

Some other human Jedi

Here are some alien Jedi

My final alien Jedi is a Chiss named Tranoj.  He's the hero in the fan fic story arc I hope to eventually write.  He's abandonded as a child on an uncharted planet just before ROTS, where he trained under the tuelage of Jordan Farseer's holocron.  He caries his master's broken saber hilt, hoping to one day gain the knowledge to repair it. He learns, from the species he lives with, to become a master swordsman.

I did an adult version of him years ago.

A few years back I made an updated version

And here is the younger version

I like em all, but that Chiss Jedi and Stealth X Mara Pilot are really my favorites of the update. I love the idea of doing some fan fiction based on some of those characters too. Off to share yet again.

If we are allowed to ask you to create I would love to see what you would do with a fully articulated AT-AT Driver; female, alien, or whatever. I am a bit biased when it comes to that character though.

Thanks so much!  The Chiss Jedi is kind of near and dear to me.  I'm glad you liked him.

I'll look into the AT-AT driver build.  At this point it depends on what fodder I have sitting around.

That facial work on the Chiss was very nice too. Figure that was hard to paint at that small scale.

If you need some Driver parts hit me up, I always have a few drivers sitting around. I mean it was my idea. ;D
