Man, when will this ever get released?!?  I know they're talking August or September, but then again, it's been pushed back several times already.  For as much hype as this game has generated, along with the incredible merchandising campaign that's been going on and will continue to go on, this had BETTER deliver!

I think the last date we heard was September 16th? This one has me excited as they are making it for so many platforms even my little ole PS2 will be able to play it.

Demos will b available thurs at 360 and ps3 dlcs.  Any idea how long the ps3 download will take?

I may be forced to get this game for ps2, but get it I will. I just dont have enough time to justify the expense of a 360 or ps3 yet.

It depends on the file size. I wouldn't think too long, as long as you aren't playing a game online while it downloads which is what I usually do.

I can't wait until tomorrow when the demo becomes live.  I'll be buying it for my Xbox 360 that morning!  Heck, I may go to Wal-Mart at Midnight to get it!

The Demo is now live!  I'm about to run and play it now.  If anyone has the PS3, can you tell me if the PS3 download is available now as well?  What do you guys think about the game so far?  Is the hype worth the wait?

I just played it, and I am impressed.  The visuals seemed pretty nice, on par or even a bit better with KOTOR.  The Force dynamics are a lot of fun already too.  I don't know if this level falls in the beginning or middle or what, but the Force Grip, Force Lightning, Force Push, as well as lightsaber battle is a LOT of fun.  I can only imagine what the whole game will be like.  After you finish the level, there is an extended trailer as well, and if that's any indication of gameplay, this is going to be a GREAT play!

If it's the tie fighter assemply plant then it is twards the beginning of the game. I will have to wait till later to check on the PSN availability as we got a show and some football to watch.

PS3 is available, still downloadin since 4 pm east.  But I bet its worth it.

Are you telling me it has taken over 3 hours for you to download the demo on PS3?!?!  It took me a grand total of about 5 minutes on my 360 using a cable modem.  What kind of connection are you using?

Well PS3 users r havin a hard time with dls i need to use a proxy server to get it faster.

Yeah, I've heard that PS3 Online has been pretty crappy, and in fact is a major reason for poor sales.  I know Sony took a multi-billion dollar loss last quarter alone due to the poor sales of PS3.
