Those look nice!  I keep thinking of doing droid customs because there's an infinite amount of possibilities, but I never do!  Nice work!

What did you use for the two astromech bases, Barry?  I love those R3's with the clear domes.  All three look like they've been around the block a few times!  (that's a good thing)

Thanks, Michael. The astromech on the left was quite labor intensive, as I 'rubbed and scratched' all of the paint from the dome of an Episode 2  R3 unit.
The droid on the right is a simple dome swap, from a newer R5 body and a dome from an R3 unit.

  I have one of those ep2 astromechs that I had started painting up but never finished. Perhaps when I am on vacation in two weeks.

Jay, you could make this one with ease. If you lived closer to me, I would happily give it to you, and be honored that you had it in your possession. Seriously.
It's a simple recipe... Pop the dome from a R3 and place (glue) it upon a R5 droid.
