lol honestly most of our collection is the kids toys. The majority of their figures and ships come second hand from e-bay sales. Getting large lots at relatively low prices is definately the way to collect. Especially if collecting for children who are going to throw away the packaging and probably break or loose 60% of it.
so far I've only gotten good pics of the boy's vehicle and creature collection. I recently "aquired" a table from my school (they were throwing it out) and put it in their room to stack their ships onto. All of their figures are in a large blue crate on the floor beneath the table (I believe it's the one on the far left in the pictures, The biggest tote is filled to the brim with legos).
those two paintings were done by me btw. The dragon and the star wars battle of yavin scene.
I LOVE that new rancor sculpt. I think it's the biggest star wars creature made to date! I love how it dwarfs that acclay!
That ATTE is so big there wasn't any room on the table for it! lol
This picture was taken a little over a year ago and you can tell how much their collection has grown!
I've got more photos somewhere I'll look them up. I'll also take a shot of my fodder box and the kitchen table which for almost two months has been taken over by customizing.... We've resorted to eating in the living room and the kids on the floor! Kudos to my wife for being understanding enough not to go all OVD on my rear and throw out everything on the table!... secretly the reason I got her into customizing is so that I wouldn't have to put everything away all the time if she has a custom in progress too!
lol
Tell me what you think, I'm sure the kids will want to know what everyone thinks of their room and their collection.
