I've been thinking hard about the custom contest, and have the pieces for these figures I'd like to make and if good enough enter in the contest. This will at least give me one to focus on, and if it doesn't turn out I'll focus on the next highest. Hopefu

Wow he looks fantastic! And more realistic than the KOTOR2 render, to boot.

Very promising.  I can't wait to see the finished product.
What was the base figure?  MU Abomination?

Thanks jon_k, wasn't really in the mood to post, but I like it here at the yards, and wanted you guys to see the WIP pics before I finished it, so I'll talk a bit about the version I made below.

Spot on Sjefke it is a MU Abomination, and thanks for the complements!

Worked all night to finish this one, here is my finished 195th figure! Put a clear coat over the spray paint, and detailed it with two shades of brown. 13 hours in to this figure, a lot of sculpting, but always worth it to see the finished product. I primarily based it off of the Kotor version I pictured with the WIPs, but I gave it a touch of the The Old Republic version (the spikes on the back are more similar to that version), and added my own twist. My personal twist comes from the lack of eyes, for playing Kotor at the age of 11, I could clearly see frame in the game clearly has no eyes (apparently they are in the texture that goes over the frame?), so I just assumed they didn't. Even then I had already read of many blind Jedi that could "see" through the force better than those using their eyes, and it makes perfect sense to me when they are known as jedi killers. If they saw through the force, a jedi would be like a beacon. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer mine over the TOR version all fleshy looking, nothing like the feral jedi eaters they are.

If anyone is interested, it's listed here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Star-Wars-Terentatek-Sith-Monster-3-75in-figure-jedi-mandalorian-darth-EU-/351771709168?hash=item51e73a4ef0%3Ag%3ACy4AAOSweWVXdHNr[

I've been watching this build with great anticipation. The final product looks really fantastic! I like your reasoning behind the "no eyes" version, makes total sense too me. You've made great design choices on this. Brilliant!

Ha, whatever you guys want, I could use the kick in the pants to get going, been super depressed lately, was engaged my entire adult life, and we recently broke up to keep it simple. Then, I finally figured out a good way to describe it, by Disney taking away the EU, they took away my happy place, always went to a galaxy far, far away when life's got me down. Most are like it's still there, but there are VERY few stories left for me to read, and when I read them that's it, so I'm trying to put it off by going only one book for now, maybe another if I need it.  :-\

Thanks Starchaser, glad you liked watching the build (always nice to hear there's at least one person fallowing it), I'm trying to snap more pics while I work, for I find it builds more hype, and appreciation for what went into making the piece. Also glad I'm not crazy thinking the no eyes thing is cool, or maybe I'm still crazy anyway, thanks again.

It's cool, thank you for running such a relaxed forum, some other places have so many rules, biases, and other crap that just gets super annoying. I'm glad I stumbled upon this site a few years ago, because Star Wars is awesome, and we make cool customs! It's also inspired me to reach a new caliber work, damn compare my first figures here to now, you can really see my growth. Not sure anyone sees what I post elsewhere, but I definitely let you guys in on a LOT more than I do elsewhere, I get a sense of community here where I trust you guys not to spoil what secrets I have. And Thanks, hope to share many more that another 195 here at the yards!
