I've been thinking hard about the custom contest, and have the pieces for these figures I'd like to make and if good enough enter in the contest. This will at least give me one to focus on, and if it doesn't turn out I'll focus on the next highest. Hopefu

Second is Komari Vosa, failed Jedi apprentice turned cult leader from the Star Wars: Bounty Hunter Video game. She's a Marvel Universe Psylocke figure with tassels cut from a rubber sheet, painted black, and a head swap.

She's listed here if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Star-Wars-Komari-Vosa-3-75in-figure-sith-mandalorian-darth-jedi-dooku-EU-/351907634058?hash=item51ef545b8a:g:moQAAOSwB09YLVxN

Nice job on Vosa. It's looks like a Lady Jaye head? I'll have to keep this in mind when I get around to her.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure it is a Lady Jaye, but not 100% sure for it came in a lot defect casts.

Got another two figures today, these two from the New Jedi Order. First up Lowbacca, nephew of Chewbacca, and companion of the Solo Twins. Made him from a sandstorm Chewbacca, because his hair is shaggier than his uncle's, with clone wars Chewbacca feet, because Lowie has larger feet. Sculpt his little Em Teedee translator droid, and made his bronze colored saber.

He's listed here if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Star-Wars-New-Jedi-Order-Lowbacca-3-75in-figure-sith-mandalorian-darth-EU-/351908327876?hash=item51ef5ef1c4:g:J0IAAOSw5cNYLk1G

Next is my Saba Sebatyne 2.0, a pretty different build still using a marvel universe lizard tail, and base for the head, but has Wioslea torso to look like robes, and maintain her femininity. The head is sculpt again, I like the forehead better, used some blackwash to enhance the sculpt, but it still doesn't really show in the pictures, and the lips are a bit duck bill looking to me. Overall I like her better, shows how I've improved, but if she sells well, I'd like to take another crack at the head sculpt.

If anybody is interested, she's listed here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Star-Wars-New-Jedi-Order-Saba-Sebatyne-3-75in-figure-sith-mandalorian-EU-/351909231218?hash=item51ef6cba72:g:h0QAAOSwj85YL77h

I really like your work, the figures look great. What kind of fabric do you use for your customs? I don´t know what kind of fabric is best for customizing.

That thought crossed my mind too, my parents grew up in the 80s, and had me watch a lot movies, and TV from the time.

Thank you it always makes me happy to hear someone enjoys my work. About the fabrics, the majority I use is recycled from other figures, like the above Saba's are all from other figures, the black capes on the various sith I make are just modified Vader capes (I buy vader figs 2 buck a pop for the lightsabers, but the parts come in handy). Otherwise I use whatever is cheap, like most of what I buy is $1 a yard a walmart, then when cutting out patterns (which if you'd like me to go over making patters too, I'd be happy to do so) leave extra on the outside edges, and use a tube of liquid stitch to glue the extra up so it doesn't fray, like on the fig I'm about to reveal.

Pretty stoked about the way this one turned out, looks right out of the Revenge of the Sith video game, a Clone Assassin. Designed to kill Jedi with genetically enhanced speed, aptitude for predicting strikes from training against padawans, and ability to resist jedi mind tricks. Base is just a clone I had in my fodder bins with a cast of that type of clone helm. The soft goods are custom, with the edges liquid stitched up so they won't fray. Blades came from my weapons bin, modified with bits from my scrap bin, with the left blade actually having a battle droid arm on his for the joint that allows the blade to rotate.
