I was sitting thinking about what my next little project should be. I'm going on vaccation in a couple of weeks, so I have not much time or money. I remembered I have a Bandai AT-AT that needs TLC. I kind of want to make an Endor AT. I have a few LEDs I can use. I'm just in the mocking up stage. Disassembling, drilling holes running wires. That's the awesome thing about these snap kits, you can take them apart very easily. I have a few ideas, I'm going to put the switch under the removable panel, and the battery fits well inside the body cavity. I just have to drill holes and run wires through the neck. Then pull it all apart and paint it. Then put it all together again.
(Edit) I ran the wires through the body. I still need to install the switch and trim the wires. If my old shop teacher saw this he'd say it looks like a damn blown up spaghetti factory. Lol.
The last picture is a comparison from the original AT-AT and the model with a blue filter. I know they used a blue filter for the movie. Perhaps with a slightly more blueish tint to the paint. I think I have just the right shade already. I'll probably start on that tomorrow.
