Thanks Tamer for the feedback and encouragement. I have my own interpretation of the Imperial era battle of Naboo I might build more dioramas and vehicles depicting those events.

Worked on my wall a little more. Painted it a yellow ocher it might be a little too dark but Ohh well. Added the soot to the blast holes. Put on the vines and added some brown to give it a burned look. Then I hand painted the rebel graffiti, the rebel symbol  and the lettering that spells "REBEL".

I know I got carried away with the yellow I'm really thinking of rebuilding the entire thing it was virtually free I have plenty of building supplies. I'm not happy with the color or the archway and a few other things that stick out to me, but its cool it would only take me 2 days or so.

This is a character for another dio I'm thinking about. He's Col Serra from one of my favorite games "Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron". I'm building a squad and a dio based on the game

I added some washes to my wall looks a little better.

Thanks. I don't know what happened with that yellow it looked good wet then it dried bright and chalky. I hate yellow anyway so it was a big shock to my system. I wanted to rebuild anyway now I know what not to do. I'd like to make it an inch or two wider and make the archway different. I have all the materials in plenty so I'll tool around with it the next couple days see which is better.

Built a couple other characters. Chewbacca is just a simple repaint of the Hoth Chewbacca I liked that sculpt because he looks the most pissed of all of the chewy figures. The sullustan I named Leiven Nubb is a nein nunb head, legs and arms on a B-wing pilot. I built this as apposed to using a Ten Numb because his skull cap and he is short and I feel sullustans are short people. Like I said I'm building renegade squadron in the future I'll build a Mon Calamari X-wing pilot and different commandos.

I would love to front page this latest update, but the picture here is a bit to blurry. any chance we can get a new pic. Looks pretty good from what I can see.

I'll be at work for the next few hours but this afternoon I'll re-shoot it I must have had a smudge on the lenses.

Thanks Todd  got a bunch of potj figures coming in not the most articulated but they have good detail for a great price. They're great for background characters. Also have some newer black series bodies I'll sacrifice for the cause.  According to the pics Renegade squadron had some women pilots too so I'll build a couple of them. Soon enough I'll start on the actual diorama just need to figure some things out first.

Tonight's Friday night figure of the week is...Mon calamari X-Wing pilot. A.K.A. Anto Akraf. As a citizen on Mon Calamari he saw the struggle of his people in the hands of the Empire. He decided to take action and fight back. During a routine Imperial exercise he mounted his father's old Republic era fighter and shot down half the convoy. He instantly became a fugitive and eventually joined the Renegade Squadron.
This Mon Calamari X-wing pilot was made from a POTJ Mon cal officer head the sculpt is great as well as his paint apps that is slightly different from Akbar. His body is a BS Dak Ralter I liked him because of his collar, it fits the Mon Cal's neck. I plan to customize the Mon Cal helmet to look more like the X-Wing helmet

Great finished product on your diorama! Also loving these Rebels you are creating.
